Er or Seau: AI & The Enhanced Race

About Er or Seau: AI & The Enhanced Race:

With fantastic technologies and a virtual world on the one hand and a wild, dangerous, real world on the other.
This narrative begins from the perspective of one character, but suddenly the characters change, leading to a completely new and unexpected story line.
In the distant future, in a world unfriendly to biological beings, Seau is a genetically modified child who lives, like all such children, in an isolated laboratory center controlled by Artificial Intelligence. Suddenly finding himself outside the walls of the Center, he becomes immersed in a real post-apocalyptic world full of dangers and new intelligent biological species. Not at all adapted to survive in such a world, he comes under the protection of an awkward electum ten times his age.
To escape capture at the hands of AI, Seau time-travels to the remote past, where he becomes acquainted with “wild people” and is then relocated to a Civilization where the ruling class is a select improved race that despises human people. There he faces a moral dilemma.
As the author’s premiere novel, Er or Seau offers reflections on the future of humankind through the eyes of a naive but very curious child. With sharp plot twists and exciting adventures in a world where AI dominates the universe, this action-packed novel is intertwined with philosophical reflections, giving the book a special charm and making readers of all ages think deeply about true human values and the future impact of today’s actions.

Toxic Beer by Simon Bullock

Toxic Beer by Simon Bullock

Toxic Beer
Unemployed computer engineer Sidney Ramsbottom inherits a small fortune from his late father’s business investments after he is found dead floating face down in a large vat of beer accompanied by two scantily-dressed Polish pole dancers and their three performing sheep Brittany, Lulu, and Michaela.

Before Sid has a chance to enjoy this unexpected windfall, however, he is abducted by a group of thieving alcoholic aliens who have been bumping and burping their way across the universe while on the run from the Intergalactic Police in a stolen spaceship.

Sid is left unconscious in the spaceship’s smelly cargo bay and left to rot while the aliens set forth to carry out their plans for the planet Earth. They don’t come in peace, and are not here to conquer. Instead, they simply want to solve two knotty problems and get back to their carefree, partying ways. One, to offload a mass of leaking toxic waste on their spaceship before it gets them first. Two, and this is the bigger issue, how to maintain their insobriety when they are left dry after 100 years of being drunk.

Their young engineer, Harry – a nice guy who is newly appointed after the gung-ho, trigger-happy captain shot his boss – has, thankfully, devised a plan to put everything right. His idea is to hide on the Moon and send shuttles down to Earth to drop off and repackage their waste as a particular toxic tipple, and re-stock up on booze. What could possibly go wrong?

It’s up to Sid, if he can escape his captors, along with a retired policeman and landlord to save the day. While the aliens have close encounters of the blurred kind, our unlikely heroes will need excessive good luck, a strong stomach, and a sense of humour for everything that’s coming their way.

Toxic Beer, Simon Bullock’s laugh-out-loud debut sci-fi comedy novel, will drive you full throttle into a world of intergalactic space odyssey

The Portal Lawman by Gail Daley

About The Portal Lawman by Gail Daley:

“A fast-paced Sci-Fi novel of adventure, suspense and romance on a post-apocalyptic earth. Trapped in a web of deceit and danger, two young women make dangerous alliances.”
The end of the world had come and gone. Those who remained after the apocalypse did whatever it took to keep themselves alive, and to preserve what civilization survived. Sometimes they broke laws and defied the will of the draconian government agencies who were supposed to keep anarchy at bay.
Lacey Delaney, head of Laughing Mountain’s Portal committee, flouted government edicts by helping Portal Runners smuggle desperately needed goods, services, and people to the Forbidden Colonies.
Joyce Higgins has a stalker who is terrorizing her and her young sisters. When she and her sisters are accused of being clones by the Parallel Genetic Agency, they take refuge in Laughing Mountain. A Clone isn’t considered a human being with rights under the law, but the property of whoever created it. Deputy Mark Connors says he can protect them, but can he?
Malachi Sullivan, sub-commander of the free militia, is one of those who hold the line against the tyranny of an overbearing government aided and abetted by powerful industrial giants.
Lacey and Malachi had been in love once, but a treacherous woman broke them apart. Now they must put the past behind them and work together to save their town and preserve the secret of the Portal to the Forbidden Colonies.
