Abigail’s Curse

About Abigail’s Curse:

Lament Academy is a place for the forgotten, the troubled, the unwanted. Abby never wanted to be here, but she wasn’t given a choice. The halls are cold, the whispers never stop, and something about this place feels wrong.

Her roommate, Raven, listens to the floorboards like they might answer. The other students watch her like they know something she doesn’t. And Ethan… Ethan looks at her like he’s waiting for her to remember something she’s long forgotten.

But the longer Abby stays at Lament, the more the lines between dreams and reality blur. Shadows stretch where they shouldn’t. Time slips through her fingers. And the whispers—soft, familiar, unrelenting—keep calling her name.

Something is keeping her here.

And it won’t let her go.

His Son’s Ex by K.C. Crowne

About Featured Book: His Son’s Ex by K.C. Crowne

Crashing my ex’s wedding was for closure…
Until his plastic bride called me fat in front of everyone.
Three hundred witnesses. Dead silence.
That’s when the Mafia king put her in her place.

Dante Bellacino.
Devil in an Armani suit.
My ex’s father.

He shuts her up with a single look.
“Apologize,” he growls.
Then turns to me like I’m the last sin he’ll ever commit.
“You’re staying.”

I should run.
But fate traps us in an elevator between floors—
And that’s where I get my first taste of sweet submission.

Now I’m working for him.
Trapped in his world.
His rules.
My ruin.

Because the man who owns my body…
Who touches me like I’ll break,
And ruins me like I won’t…
Might be the one behind a murder that shattered my world.

And falling for him?
Might be my deadliest mistake.

as hormonal changes, bullying and hate-
crimes, sexual orientation, sexism, child abuse,
mental health, religion.and relevant issues in
the world.
The Author also talks about love, compassion,
happiness, education, holidays and coming
together to care and share our problems, and to keep optimism in your heart and soul.
One thing that is clear is that the
Author gives her encouragement and can
relate herself and her own life experiences
to those of her readers. She understands
that sometimes life can be cruel and
unpredictable, and the pressures can
become overwhelming at times (just like a
rollercoaster ride – one minute up, the next

The Author wants us to develop a certain
mindset to prepare ourselves for the challenges that life can throw our way, to come together, join hands and learn from our mistakes, reflect and improve our lives and for future generations. Together we can stamp out greed, selfishness, and hate!!
The poems in this book will leave you, the
reader with mixed emotions. Some may make
you laugh; some may make you sad and may
bring a tear to your eye!

Sutherland’s Crossing – A Beau Crenshaw Detective Novel by Gwen Kelly

As Beau delves deeper into the investigation, he realizes there may be a connection between this case and Mary’s murder.

In Charleston, South Carolina, where families will do anything to protect their dark secrets, Beau must navigate a web of lies and deceit to uncover the truth.

Seducing the Basketball Star by Jordan Church

A wealthy heiress has recruited female athletes and female support staff to start a new women’s sport. She arranges them into two teams; The Angels and The Ugly Ducklings. Half of the sixteen women are lovely beauties and the other half… are not. They are required to live in a small domed stadium for a year while working out the kinks in the new sport. But is the wealthy heiress actually out to start a new sport? She and her “uglies” seem more interested in working their kinks on the beauties than they do working out kinks in the new sport!
The lovely Japanese table tennis champion escapes the literal clutches of Coach Jimena, but for how long? They live in the same house and Minato does not want to tell anyone what Jimena did to her or how passionately she reacted to it. Minato feels ill from what they did and from what Jimena made her eat. But she is still turned on.
Minato’s seduction and domination are only slightly delayed as Jimena has a back-up plan and an ally in the insidious domme nerd, Ayla. Poor Minato is doomed to experience many more orgasms! No rest for the wicked black domme and no rest for the innocent athlete.
Natalie, the basketball star, and Alexa, the soccer star, have ongoing suspicions about the things going on around them. They go on a scouting mission – okay, a peeping mission – to the other team’s homes unaware that they could have seen plenty of lesbian domination had they sneaked looks through the windows of their own teammates.
What Natalie and Alexa see is intense and has a shocking effect on them. How can lesbian sex turn on heterosexual women like them? How can seeing their friends treated like sex slaves be so arousing when they value and respect independence and free will?
Natalie and Alexa see naughty things and then start doing naughty things so unlike themselves. They have to go back the next night, oblivious that one of them is next on the target list.
Can Natalie’s butch roommate, Frankie, turn Natalie, the tall and confident basketball star, into a sexy and obedient submissive?
Graphic sex, adult content, BDSM, unusual sex, group sex, domination and submission.

How to Hotwire an Airplane

About How to Hotwire an Airplane:

5.0 out of 5 stars Strap in for a gritty, white-knuckle flight of your life!
Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2025
Jump into the cockpit of a shaky Cessna 172 and strap in for a gritty, white-knuckle flight with Hiram Bleeker, a Vietnam War veteran pilot, as he navigates treacherous West Texas landscapes and moral predicaments. For years, Hiram has sought to bury his wartime past by flying dog rescue missions in which he encounters shady clients in the most isolated, desert locations in places not big enough to call a town. However, an unexpected encounter pushes him into the dangerous world of smuggling immigrants across the Texas border into the United States and evading high-tech Border Patrol agents. A romantic interlude with a mysterious woman complicates Hiram’s life, as she always seems to be two steps ahead of him.

In How to Hot Wire an Airplane, retired Navy submarine Commander and experienced pilot, Henry Rausch has written an aviation political thriller that is not only fast paced, but edgy and believable. This adventure is full of plot twists and course turns, not unlike flying through turbulent weather that pitches your stomach into your mouth. You won’t be reading another typical cliched airplane story set in a fighter jet chasing bogies at Mach 2 or a commercial passenger jet hijacked by wild-eyed terrorists over the ocean. Instead, Rausch sets this novel in a beat-up plane, held together by duct tape and coat hangers, and tells it with a certain authenticity that only an author skilled with planes in challenging conditions could describe.

I enjoy how the author brings out the danger and excitement of flights below the radar in planes most readers would never dare enter. Rausch’s care and skill in telling this story matches how Tom Clancy’s novels make both the technology of flying and the humanity of the characters approachable. Readers will want to turn the pages as fast as the propellor spins to see how Hiram either evades a relentless Border Patrol or fixes another failing part of his plane in the service of his clients. In that regard, both his dog and immigrant passengers share one quality: the desire to escape to a safer home and life.

Without divulging any of the satisfying plot twists — including a harrowing evasion of the authorities — I can report, after having read it twice, that the novel unspools smoothly and how easily it reads. Readers will appreciate how well researched this story is, the clear storyline, and the immersive descriptions of the Texas landscapes. It doesn’t get bogged down with too much commentary about the current state of our politics. But rather, it shows the importance of how helping others can lead to self-healing and redemption.

“How to Hotwire an Airplane” Kindle edition is normally $4.99 but is offered for free on 6/28 and 6/29.

Wolves Among Us: Biblical Principles To Identify And Expose Spiritual Predators by Linda Reyburn Shirey

Abusers like to hide in plain sight, especially in churches. They pick out the vulnerable and weak, and try to exploit them. “Wolves Among Us” outlines some ways to understand the motivations and drive of abusers who target churches. I’m hopeful that it will spark some interest in spiritual self-defense and social change, which is badly needed.

If you’ve always wondered whether or not you’re allowed to call them out for bad behavior and manipulative techniques- this book offers practical guidelines and Biblical support to say, “Yes, you can.”

Jesus said, “You will know them by their fruit.” Belief is half the battle.

151 Fun Things To Do In Retirement: Exciting Hobbies, Adventures, and Cool Bucket List Ideas to Make Retirement Your Best Chapter Yet by Veronica Goldspiel

Retirement Shouldn’t Feel Like a Slow March to the Couch!
For years, you’ve dreamed of retirement—sleeping in, no meetings, and all the time in the world to do… whatever you want.

But now that you’re here, there’s a tiny problem no one warned you about…

Boredom.

At first, it’s all Netflix and naps. Then one day, you find yourself watching a squirrel outside for way too long and you realize the highlight of your week has been deciding between pancakes and waffles. That’s when it really hits you: You need a plan.

Boredom isn’t just annoying – it’s actually bad for your health. Studies show that early retirees often have shorter lifespans—not because they retired, but because they lost their sense of purpose. And trust me, “seeing how long I can sit still before the cat gets concerned” is not a purpose.

But don’t panic! This book is here to rescue you from retirement boredom before it’s too late.
Whether you’re already embracing retirement life or just starting to dream about it, 151 Fun Things to Do in Retirement is your ultimate guide to making sure your golden years aren’t just a never-ending loop of daytime TV and wondering what day it is.

Inside, you’ll discover:

✅ Travel & Adventure Ideas – Go beyond your backyard and explore the world (or at least a new coffee shop).
✅ Creative Hobbies & Activities – Finally learn to paint, knit, or play guitar… or just prove once and for all that you have no artistic talent whatsoever.
✅ Social Shenanigans & Community Fun – Make new friends before you start responding to telemarketers just for the conversation.
✅ Side Hustles to Make Money – Because “retired” doesn’t have to mean “broke.”
✅ Health & Fitness Without the Boredom – Stay active in ways that don’t make you feel like you’re being chased by an angry gym coach.
✅ Bucket List Goals – Because “I wrote a book” sounds way cooler than “I organized the sock drawer… again.”
✅ Volunteering & Giving Back – Do something meaningful and give yourself a reason to put on real pants.

Whether you want to launch a passion project, earn a degree, plan an epic road trip, chill out on the beach, or finally figure out if you actually love gardening or just really enjoy bossing plants around, this book has got you covered – with plenty of fun, practical advice, and maybe a few gentle nudges to step outside your comfort zone.

This book is your wake-up call to stop wasting your retirement and start living it. Think of the author, Veronica Goldspiel – a soon-to-be retiree and your fun-loving, slightly sarcastic tour guide – as the coach you never knew you needed, helping you navigate the endless adventures of retirement so boredom is never on your schedule.

If you’re ready to trade in “What should I do today?” for “I can’t believe I get to do this!” – hit that BUY NOW button before you start talking to your houseplants. Let’s start creating your dream retirement!
