He then discovers incriminating evidence on the two cops, and his new challenge becomes how to keep himself and his client alive pending a new trial.

Along the way, a romantic affair turns into a tragic love story as Garbuncle’s paramour also becomes a target of the cops and their collaborators.

The inspiration for Blood on Their Hands came from the movies Gran Torino and My Cousin Vinnie. It is replete with suspense, thrills, plot twists, comedy, and crackling courtroom drama. The action includes violent scenes, and yes, a bit of titillating sex. Abundant humorous episodes provide comic relief from the pathos of a tragic love story. Amid an assortment of diverse characters, piquant dialogue, intrigue and moral tension is a message that resonates in our time.
