Featured Interview With Daisy Rodriguez
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I am Proud mother of 4 beautiful kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. I have been married for 16 wonderful years to a man I meet when I as 16 years old. I am an animal lover, i have 2 cats, 1 dog and a bunny. I was born and raised in Chicago,IL and it was great around a lot of family and friends. I currently live in Reidsville, NC, it is beautiful small town where everyone is sweet and very caring.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
My fascination for reading books came early about the age of 9 and I began to writing my own stories to tell my little cousins when I was 12 years old. I remember when we would go on vacation mostly Camping I would sit outside on the table and just write. Then at night we would tell scary stories. It was so much fun. this is when I knew that writing is what I was meant to do.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I have a one favorite author and that is Mr. Stephen King, he is my idle. Stephen King is my inspiration when it comes to writing. The way he writes and has you hooked it amazing. Lets not forget his endings are amazing. My second inspiring author is J K Rowling, this author has you in her story and makes you walk their shoes. I love it
Tell us a little about your latest book?
My book is about a sixteen year old girl who loses both her parents within years of each other has to face a demon and finds out some family secrets. I loved writing this story because I have a soft spot for the Villains, I let the readers decide who is evil and who is the hero. It took my a year to write this story and it was an adventure all on its own, I try to place myself in the story so my readers could experience every emotion.
