The Model Spy

About The Model Spy:

THE MODEL SPY is based on the true story of Toto Koopman, who spied for the Allies and Italian Resistance during World War II. Largely unknown today, Toto was arguably the first woman to spy for the British Intelligence Service. Operating in the hotbed of Mussolini’s Italy, she courted danger every step of the way. As the war entered its final stages, she faced off against the most brutal of forces—Germany’s Intelligence Service, the Abwehr.

99 cents through May 6th 2022!

Right now, you’re entire world is falling down around you. Your ex has broken up and nothing feels right. You feel desperate to get him back, but so far, everything you’ve tried hasn’t worked.
You’ve texted him tear-filled messages begging him to come back. You’ve promised to do better if he’ll only come back.

But he’s ignoring you. If he texts back, it’s short and non-committal, which just frustrates you even more.
You’ve come to the right place. I have the book for you written by The Top Dating Coach!
X Back: The Five Step Process to Get Him Back

Inside is everything you need to get your ex back. The 5 steps will take a few weeks for you to do, and that’s a good thing and I’ll tell you why.

Right now, your ex has negative feelings towards you. He’s not even missing you. He’s off dealing with his own emotions.
Every text he receives from you reminds him of those negative feelings and keeps them alive. He can’t miss you because you’re still there for him.

Read this book and follow the five steps! By the time you complete step three, he will be in a better place to receive your texts.
In Step One

You will learn to rein in your emotions.
You’ll learn how to implement the No Contact Rule, my way!
You’ll learn what things you’re doing to ruin your chances of getting him back and how to stop all the negative behaviors that you might be exhibiting.
You’ll gain some tips on managing your anxiety and setting boundaries.

In Step Two

You will assess the relationship and breakup, take an honest look at what really happened, remove him from his pedestal and understand what he’s thinking right now.
You’ll discover that he lied to you about why you broke up and what those lies really mean.
You’ll learn the difference between missing him and missing someone.
You will also identify your role in the breakup and uncover how you can fix that.

In Step Three

You will work on rebuilding your confidence. It doesn’t matter what the reason for the breakup was; the result is a drop in your confidence. For your ex to want to be with you again, you need to rebuild that confidence.
You’ll learn what it means to be an independent woman and how to become one.
Why you need to make positive changes in your life and how to put them into practice, the importance of self-care and how to implement a self-care routine, and how to create a vision for your life and write your own story.
You’ll also learn how to stop living in the past and how to end the days of being a victim.

In Step Four, You’ll Have Fun!

You’ll do what we call toying with his psyche.
You’ll start reminding him in small intermittent ways about the good times of your relationship.
You’ll learn about what I call the Slip In/Slip Out method and how to casually hang out.
You’ll determine when it’s time to contact him and how all the things you’ll be learning to do are going to turn the breakup upside down.
He will question why he broke up and worry that he’s losing you!

In the Final Step

You’ll formulate your plan to meet your ex. You’ll assess whether you’re ready for this step and you’ll learn how to get him to ask for the meeting. You’ll also learn about how he is likely to act during this meeting and why. You will go into this meeting as a casual observer: kind, peaceful and calm, and he won’t know what to do!

Before the five steps, however, are the dealbreakers. Pay close attention to these because these are all reasons why you should not consider a reconciliation with your ex.
Let’s Get Him Back!

Burnout

About Burnout:

Cutter Dunn was born a ghost.

Unchipped and unregistered, he exists as a nonperson, living off-the-grid, unrecognized by the facial recognition software built into every smart glass device that provides everyone with everything they want and need. According to the official system, he doesn’t even exist.

He has the skills and out-of-the-box perspective to design the nuts-and-bolts mechanism for the next generation of driverless shipping vehicles. He’s also the kind of person that a massively wealthy and corrupt corporation can exploit and make disappear without a trace. For good measure, they also erased his home settlement of Amenity, bulldozing the dwellings, scattering the residents. And that was their big mistake.

Because Cutter knows they can’t track what they can’t trace. And they won’t know what he’s planning until it hits them.

Burnout is a new stand-alone science fiction thriller by masters of storytelling, Sean Platt and Johnny B. Truant. If you like movies like Falling Down and Snatch, then you’ll love Burnout.

Featured Interview With Brian Coggins Jr.

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I am not only a science fiction and epic fantasy nerd but I love reinventing stories about Greek mythology and history. Writing has always been a pathway to another world for me as my inspiration for character development and intricate mystery plots flourished from my time in film school in Orlando, Florida. I want to create an exclusive fulfilling reading experience that indulges my audiences imagination and dives them into a complex, action adventure universe full of diverse characters.

When I’m not writing, I’m spending time with my friends and family, traveling with my wife, or doing house chores that my wife tells me I never get to.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
My fascination for books came with my time in college but I have always been intrigued by Greek mythology ever since high school which helped in my desire to write ‘The Olympus Trinity.’ But what drew me the most was I wanted to create a fresh take on the Greek gods. There is such a distinguished history behind Greek mythology that people know and love and I just wanted to allow myself to create a more realistic and relatable story of characters for audiences to emotionally draw to while still maintaining action packed sequences full of love and humor.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
Dan Brown and George RR Martin. I love the way Dan Brown’s “Da Vinci Code” series drops the audience right into the story, hitting the ground running out the gate and the world building that George RR Martin does with his Game of Thrones series.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
My latest book is ‘The Olympus Trinity.’

How much would you sacrifice to protect your family when everything isn’t enough? This epic fantasy adventure will take you on a journey following the Greek Gods and the original Olympus Trinity.

Zeus, the King of the Gods, fears no man, being, or anything of nature in the universe except one thing . . . the loss of family. Opposed to the cruel ways of his vicious father, Kronos, Zeus has strived endlessly in instilling the traditions his mother Rhea taught to him—Family is Everything. In spite of all his protection over his children, destiny ignores no one.

When a mysterious figure comes to his home, Zeus discreetly turns to his reticent brother Hades, God of the Underworld, for answers. Unfortunately, the rebellious and uncontrollable Ocean God, Poseidon, seeks for the answers his way that collides the troubled lives of the forefathers.

Needing to cast aside their differences, the Olympus Trinity must work together if they are to unravel the threads of a perilous mystery of their past.

Featured Interview With Craig Copeland

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
Raised in Los Angeles, but have lived in eight different states in the U.S. and three overseas. My dog, North was an aussie shepherd. Greatest dog on the planet. Knew over thirty different sign language gestures.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
At nine I was given Othello by my mother. Didn’t completely understand it, but it kind of read like a thriller. From there I was hooked. Wanted to be a writer. Started with poetry, then later moved on to short stories. In my twenties to earn a living I became an advertising copywriter, then later a magazine copywriter. I wrote my first book in my thirties.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I always think this question is like asking what my favorite music is. How much time do we have? I started by reading a lot of fiction and sciFi, which really got my imagination working. Later, books that were written so beautifully like Prince of Tides, White Oleander, I Know Why Caged Birds Sing. Later, when I realized that a lot of my beliefs were really imparted to me, I began to question and challenge everything, so I started to become a researcher and read more factual books on people, moments in history, and how things (really) work. Now, I am all over the place: My Life in France, Julia Child, Hail Mary, Andy Weir, NeuroTribes, Steve Silberman, Bewilderment, Richard Powers…

Tell us a little about your latest book?
Disruptors: The Gateway to Genius Level Thinking is about how we have gone from a society of disruptive intuitive thinkers to become a society of rational thinkers who chase money, fame, and social acceptance. The book is about how we all still have this genius Disruptor inside of us and how to tap into and reacquaint ourselves with our more powerful genius-level thinking. It shows that genius is not IQ and that anyone can regain their most powerful thinking.

Featured Interview With Dwight David Croy

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
Raised in Portland Oregon and all over that state. Now residing in North Carolina due to 28 years of military service in the Army as a Chaplain and this is where the grandchildren are. One dog, Moosie. We are in the practice of adopting survivor dogs. We have had over 12-15 dogs over our 40-year marriage. Love to walk with my dog, read, read, read, and spend time with my grandchildren. Now writing in earnest and rewriting, at some point there will be an explosion of my work for better or worse. It is a process that makes me study my Bible more and is a prayerful replacing of the pride of man with godly thoughts.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
Elementary school is when I disobeyed my mom and dad over and over again in reading after the lights went out for bedtime. I read in low light, with a flashlight, and moonlight. Thus, I read with glasses and have had glasses for most of my life since 5th grade. This would be God’s “come-up-in’s” for disobedience. College and my first pastorate is when I started to write. Was raised in the sixties when “creative” writing without the rules was the main way of learning to write.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
Early on John Bunyan’s “Pilgrims Progress”; always the Bible; C.S. Lewis; Chesterton; and Dickens are among many favorite authors to read. Historical Fiction and non-fiction are my favorite genres to read. The reason I like the above writers is the fact these volumes are “others” centered. They write to change the world. Perhaps not with one volume, but by causing thinking to change with creative means. That is the way I would like to continue to write.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
My first book is about the disenfranchised which is very much a part of the heart of God. As a preachers kid growing up, I saw a lot of great ministry outreach and some not-so-great approaches to the population that is “fatherless.” A grid needs to be in place so that churches can evaluate themselves and their ministry to those people that God does not want us to forget. Not only churches need to evaluate, but also non-profits. I believe this book can help them from Scripture, and God’s thinking without the influence of any outside “cause.”

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was born in Galt, Ontario, Canada. The youngest of four children, at seven, my family moved to Burlington, Ontario, where I spent my teenage years. Out on my own by seventeen, life was no picnic. As my debut novel, REASONS is a creation formed out of the challenges I faced as a young woman; and further enhanced by the lessons I learned. Although the story draws from my life experience, it is a work of fiction.

In my early twenties, I completed post-secondary education in sales and marketing. For years, I enjoyed my work as a Project Manager in both the Exhibit and Signage industries. And for twelve years, I was a partner with my husband in a sign manufacturing company.

I have fond memories of my role as a business owner—but life soon saw me venture onto an alternative career path. I currently live in Peterborough, Ontario, with my husband, Robert (and two cats: Shoelace and Wingnut), where I continue to pursue my writing career.

I have published my debut novel titled: Reasons, Three Lives One Soul, and I’m currently working on a second novel tentatively titled: To Cast a Shadow, and a non-fiction book tentatively titled: 42 days of isolation—lessons learned for a lifetime of happiness.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
My mother took me to the library before I started kindergarten. A stack of books was always near my bedside. Learning to read, I knew books were special. I loved the look of a library and the smell. The tall wooden bookcases; the colorful spines of the thousands of books; the mixed scent of old and new books, and the hushed reference of the space, combined to thrill my growing brain—and filled me with awe. Still, to this day, I’m awe-inspired when in a library and excited about a new book to read. I cannot imagine a world without books.

I began writing at about the age of six. Back then, I wrote poetry, and later, journal entries and letters to friends and family. With a vivid imagination, I was often creating worlds and characters. My dream of one day drafting a novel and becoming a published author started when I was about ten years old. That dream took a long time to come true, but it remains just as special.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
My book genre preferences are as wide as my imagination, as are my author preferences. When I was a teenager, I read Stephen King’s books. One day, I found Mila 18 by Leon Uris; that book moved me. It may have been the first time I cried while reading a novel. I’ve read many, many books; I can’t remember them all.

Another book that moved me deeply is Suite Francaise by Irene Nemirovsky. Other favorites of mine are The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho (which inspired my wish to create novels about hope and renewal), Dracula by Bram Stoker (which is delightfully creepy), and Pilgrim by Timothy Findley (which stirred in me a lean toward the metaphysical). And I’d be remiss not to include War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy (which took a long time to read) and The Idiot by Fyodor Dostoevsky (which, like War and Peace, is an exquisite study on how to write about humanity, character, and emotion). This list, a brief look into my reading, should prove that my tastes are certainly eclectic. If a book is engaging for me, I’ll read it cover to cover no matter the genre.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
My life experience as a teenager and young woman inspired Reasons: Three Lives One Soul. Although the story draws from my experience as a victim of intimate partner abuse, it is a fictional story—that includes some magical realism and is a story about second chances, renewal, and hope.

Here’s the book’s description:

Combining wisdom and wonder into an inspiring tale of self-discovery, Reasons tells the touching story of Reason who, shown to us as a teenager, an elderly woman, and at thirty-five, yearns to leave her troubled past behind and to live without shame and fear. Her quest will lead her to a magical land, thrilling encounters with peculiar guides, a terrifying test, and a transformation far more remarkable than she ever thought possible. Reason’s journey shows us there’s wisdom in introspection and serves as a great reminder that people will help us along the way if we slow down and listen.

REASONS follows three versions of the heroine—each an independent life, all three forever linked.

ONE: As a troubled teenager, Reason starts a new life after escaping an abusive relationship—only to fall victim to the same man when he kidnaps her.

TWO: As an elderly woman, Reason approaches the end of her life—and struggles with Pain while searching for hope after trauma.

THREE: As a 35-year-old, Reason is led by a Raven into a mysterious world where she embarks on a quest with peculiar guides. As the guides clandestinely prepare her for the Stickman, a spine-chilling creature born of her fear, Reason tells her story.
Given a chance to reconcile her painful history, she wrestles with its ruthless effects. But success will mean reliving every detail… and conquering her fear.
If she can endure, a marvelous discovery awaits, and with it, an opportunity to meet with the younger and older versions of herself—and a chance to save them all.

The reader is transported into the heroine’s story—into a part whimsical, part dark, and emotionally intense journey. Both heartbreaking and heartwarming, the story is thoughtful, inspiring, and relevant to today’s world. It is philosophical while allowing for differing belief systems. A story of hope, the novel doesn’t shy away from the dark side of human nature—to show and courageously face that which, for some of us, is the tragedy that leads to self-realization and renewal. The story mirrors real life with its adventure, uncertainty, failures, triumphs, and discoveries—while also including a wee bit of magic. It’s not the magic of wizards and witches and such, but the existential mysteries of life that, while defying explanation, spur us forward into second chances and new beginnings.

Furious justice by Jacob Ralph

About Furious justice by Jacob Ralph:

When love and sentiment impede justice, nature becomes the jury. An incorruptible jury that passes an unclear sentence: an Imprisonment without parole, a sentence to death by a spontaneous disintegration of the soul, or a disastrous injury or death caused by nature’s manipulation. Luckily, nature pardons her convicts when they repent. This is good because we are all convicts.

Fred, a journalist who was bored by his regular job routine was invited to record an origin reveal of an abnormal fossil called the Ferretorex. The supposed archeological lecture turned out to be a remarkable one.
The event wasn’t just an origin reveal. A popular archeologist and professor told a story of the living Ferratorex. The archeologist also revealed his long-time secret; he divulged his ability to incarnate again and again for thousands of years.
He told a story that seemed mythical; a historical mythical story of romance, betrayal, deceit, war, and crime. The story was like Greek mythology because he mentioned Neptune, Poseidon, Adonis, etc. These titans are popular in myths and legends. That was why Fred concluded that the famous archeologist was making the story up at first. But an unnatural phenomenon that led to the man’s disappearance made Fred believe the whole story.

About Tales From the P.I.T. Crew: Case of the Wayward Son by J.M. Tilbury:

The legend of the bogeyman has become a reality.

CSI forensic psychologist turned paranormal investigator for a secret government agency, Dr. Darrell Diamondback hunts down the things that go bump in the night. But after a string of mishaps, he needs a solid win. Unfortunately, he is about to get more than he bargained for, especially when his handler is insisting the lone wolf detective start building a team.

But learning how to play well with others is the least of his problems. Children are being kidnapped across the Diamond Heights District of San Francisco by a psychopathic spirit, the bogeyman himself! While this detective must find the missing children, Dr. Diamondback is about to understand how personal this case really is.

Urban legend is true crime in this detective thriller featuring the supernatural. Fans of dark, witty, and haunting adventures will relish this exploration into a world where the monsters of our own making can bite back.
