You made me smile

About You made me smile:

Fifame Lawson is in her sophomore year in college. For years she has been struggling with depression; she is drowning in the void that submerges her. She has tried everything to get better, even things she shouldn’t have done. She lives for others, fakes smiles, and is sure of one thing: depression is her best friend. When her path crosses that of Shawn Davis, the happiest person she has ever met, she finds herself hoping that she will be able to get better. Gradually, he gives her reasons to be happy, people to trust, a purpose in life. However, the happiness she has found begins to crumble as she discovers dark parts of herself and even darker ones behind the beautiful eyes of her new friend. But despite the pain, the wounds, the fear and the difficulties, she genuinely knows he made her smile.
