Author Bio:
Canadian, 5-star-multi-award-winning romance novelist, model, and YouTube actress, Rusty Blackwood, has penned 14 titles to date, 10 of which are available on Amazons worldwide. She is an avid believer of going after what she wants, taking no flack along the way, and securing her place in the Arts.
Though unprofessionally trained in the field, Blackwood’s commanding knowledge in English and Grammar, combinded with an endless imagination, allowed her to became a serious writer in 2001, and choosing the road of the Independent author, released her first collection of poetry in 2009 that was immediately followed by her first collection of children’s short stories, and in 2010, released the first part of her 2-part romantic fiction drama, “Passion in Paris,” followed by part 2 in 2011.
Through upset and turmoil throughout the self-publishing route, and ill-satisfied with the company’s treatment of her, Blackwood revoked her work, terminated her contract, and set about revising and republishing her prior work under the new titles, “Impressions”, “Through the Eyes of Innocence”, and the grandscale romantic drama, “Passions in Paris: Revelations of a Lost Diary” of which earned Blackwood a 4-star-rating by Amazon where it is still available in Kindle and Paperback.
Blackwood, the eclectic writer she is, also penned the Derwood Tugbottom Comedy series, consisting of 3-short-story installments, “The Misadventures of Derwood Tugbottom”, “Derwood Returns”, and “Derwood Goes Caribbean.” A great knee-slapping journey not soon forgotten.
In 2015, Blackwood released the romance fiction drama, “Willow’s Walk”, awarded 5-stars by Readers Favorite Books while still in pre-release.
This well-received dramatic novel was followed in 2019 with “The Perils of Autumn”, a 5-star-multi-award-winning romance drama that became the first of Blackwood’s 3-part Autumn Trilogy, consisting of “The Perils of Autumn”, “Return to Autumn”, and “Return to Autumn 2.” This well-applauded dramatic, romantic equestrian series has put Blackwood on the map of celebrated novelists, a well-deserved accolade she carries well.
Blackwood is currently penning the prequel to her acclaimed Autumn series, titled, “Before the Grandeur: The Making of A Horsemaster.”
