Author Bio:
Sean Rainwater is a screenwriter and author of the novel The Weight of a Void. A film based on this story titled The Weight of Darkness will be released Summer 2025 and stars Jaime King, Doug Jones, Angus Macfadyen, Corbin Bernsen, and Angus Benfield. Sean co-wrote the screenplay for the film as well. His debut novel is a horror/thriller titled Hades Proper.
Throughout his life he became a student of the mind, and of the spiritual forces that try to have a say in what we think, feel, and decide. His interest in the truths of this topic and the reactions of humanity to them create the groundwork for his novels and screenplays.
The topics of angelology, demonology, Heaven and Hell were always exciting to him. This was not a morbid fascination, but rather a strong intellectual interest in the topic as he found that the afterlife is somewhere that every person that has ever existed and will exist is headed, but not many speak of.
His screenplay for Hades Proper is in the early stages of development to become a feature film, and he has also written several other screenplays and short films.
Besides writing, his passions are his family, movies, scuba diving, Mexican food, and a fine cocktail.
