The One Week Writing Workshop by Karin Adams
It’s finally time to get your novel out of your head and onto the page! The One Week Writing Workshop: 7 Days to Spark, Boost or Revive Your Novel is a writing-workshop-in-a-book that will show you how. With its step-by-step lessons and conversational style, it’s like writing alongside a helpful mentor showing you the way and cheering you on. Whether you’re an aspiring author looking for a reliable writing method, or a veteran writer in need of an energizing push to get your book rolling again, you’ll find it here!
Presented as a seven-day workshop, each chapter explores one step in author and writing coach Karin Adams’ seven-step writing process. Through 70+ writing lessons and strategies, you follow the path from sparking a story right through to revising a draft. You can pick and choose among the tasks or do them all—and you set the pace! By the end of the workshop, you’ll have learned and practiced a complete novel-writing method start-to-finish. You’ll know just what you need to do to take your own novel from dream to reality!
While many writing guides focus on teaching you about the components of a novel, The One Week Writing Workshop takes an active approach—you write as you read. Of course, you’ll be learning story essentials, but you’ll be growing your own original ideas at the same time—no need to delay until you’ve finished reading (yet another!) book on writing. You’ll be using the method that author Karin Adams uses herself to write her novels, and the lessons she’s taught to thousands of her writing workshop participants since 2010.
Because writing involves real people like you, The One Week Writing Workshop accounts for real world challenges like restless days, writer’s block, and low creative confidence. Karin Adams shares the actual things she does to bust past blocks and reenergize her own writing. She’s even sharing outside-the-box and away-from-the-desk strategies not covered in most writing guides. Let them become your new creative game-changers for getting things done!
Writing can be grounded in a reliable method and still be full of experimentation, joy and play—let The One Week Writing Workshop be your guide!
