The Gunslinger’s Lady by Kimberly C. Miller
An inspirational romance novella set in 1800s Wyoming:
Dale Andrews is considered a crack shot. His steady eye and calm demeanor have earned him the reputation of being cool and reliable in most any situation. When a traveling Wild West Show comes to town, his practical nature judges it as silly and a waste of time, but his family is enthralled so he goes to see it anyway. One glimpse of the beautiful trick rider and he’s a goner.
Priscilla Peters thought joining Dakota Joe’s Wild West Show would be the perfect place to hide from the abuse of her past. But can she really outrun the tragedy of her childhood? Or will the problems she’s running from catch up with her at last? And will the handsome son of the local ranch owner be a weight to tie her down, or the answer to all of her problems?
Can a mysterious woman with a complicated past and a practical rancher with a dangerous hobby find hope in a future together?

Author Bio:
Kimberly Miller began dreaming of becoming an author at the age of eight years old. Books and reading have always been her passion, and she has finally found a way to combine that love of reading with history, another passion of hers. The victorian era in particular holds a special fascination for her, perhaps from reading so many L.M. Montgomery books as a child. More than once, she has felt that she was born a century too late. Writing historical fiction has brought Kimberly the fulfillment of her lifelong dream and given her a way to unite her dual loves of history and books.
As the mother of nine children, Kimberly’s days are kept busy homeschooling and caring for her large and often chaotic household. She and her husband live with their brood on 19 acres in rural Maine, the perfect state to live in as an author. There they keep horses, chickens, ducks, dogs, parakeets, and a snail.
