Stepping into the year 2019 was certainly a precarious time on Earth, a real threat to the existence of the human race……………. the worst thing since World War 2………………it came like a great tsunami working its way around the world, fast and furious, sending us all into shock and drenching us with fear, terror and capable of destroying EVERYONE in its path………….no one was safe from contamination!!!!
There was no cure for this deadly disease they called Covid-19!! Fatalities multiplied………millions of people all across the world were dying like flies falling prey to this virus. People with symptoms were given harsh instruction to self- isolate, this was all we could do, it was the only solution to try to stop the spread of this invisible enemy………………at least, until MAYBE IN THE FUTURE

Author Bio:
Nicola Corcoran, born in 1961, raised a Catholic, the eldest daughter of six siblings to a self-employed builder and community care giver wife from a small village on the Wirral Peninsula, Cheshire.
I developed an interest in writing poetry as a hobby after being given a project at school about countries of which my grandfather, Ned Corcoran, who had been all around the world in the Royal British Navy during the Second World War had helped me to write, he was amazing!
After various jobs, I qualified as an NNEB in my early twenties and worked as a Health Care Assistant working in the community and in various other setting. I am still in employment in a care home for complex needs in Merseyside.
Now, a first-time author, I am willing to share my thoughts and knowledge and experiences of love and life.
