The Failure Murders by Dalton Lewis

Kara Grey, alcoholic teenager, spent her mornings, evenings, and weekends writing a novella…and everyone hated it. She crashes and blacks out. Later she wakes up in a strange cabin with her friends watching the Super Bowl, but Nicole Jax, the lead character from her novella, shows up to attack her and her friends for failing to perfect her story. What follows is a wild ride through Darklake, Illinois as Kara and her friends combat ghosts, deal with betrayal and villainy on all sides, and might just find the perfect story.
