Author Bio:
Eric Colbourne was born in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, in 1944. He graduated from Memorial University in St. John’s, McGill University in Montreal, and the University of Reading in the UK. He spent almost his entire career in Canada’s north working with Inuit and other Indigenous people. His published works include Disappeared: Stories From The Coast of Newfoundland, Dancing On Air, The Diary Of A Fishing Master, and numerous satirical essays online. Eric is an avid gardener, a hunter, and a well-known cook with a penchant for creative seafood and wild-game dishes. He is a world traveler, a passion he shares with his wife, Marilyn. With a background in environmental studies, he has held a lifelong interest in promoting actions that lead to a sustainable future for all of us.
