The Brilliance of Dyslexia: Teaching Any Student to Excel in Learning and Loving to Read by Anita Burch

Author Bio:
After 40+ years of teaching, Anita Mae Burch is sharing her expertise in retirement. In 1990, she was Opportunity School’s first teacher, helping a handful of impacted students with literacy. As the team and studenthood grew, everyone’s hard work resulted in a nationally recognized model program that unlocks the hidden potential of children with learning challenges.
Burch also worked with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). In the late nineties, she was recognized by them for pioneering and founding a brain-researched, multisensory literacy program that considers the individual obstacles of students with learning challenges.
