Special District: Harbin: Book 2, The Tigers of East Mountain by Tim Stickel

The discovery of the defiled body of a local Jewish businessman in a Harbin back alley threatens to tip the city into mob violence…

It’s 1932 and Borya Melnikov has returned to police ranks after the Japanese take over the city and end Soviet control. Borya is assigned the case along with a police intern from Okinawa. The list of suspects runs from Russian Fascists to Soviet agents to the anti-Japanese resistance. Leaks and deadly attacks convince him he can trust no one except maybe his Japanese partner. Together they are in a race with the killer that leads them to the wild frontiers of Manchuria.

This is Book 2 of the award-winning Harbin Mysteries series
