About Sisterhood by Carol Ann Moore:
Sisterhood is an urban fantasy mixed with magical realism and a strong feminist twist.
It is set in the modern day, with a few chapters of flashback regarding the main protagonist as she tells her story to another character. The story revolves around seven women, all descended from a coven in the 14th century in Italy. It tells of their revenge for the misogyny that they’ve experienced and the ultimate final spell that is cast to rectify the world’s wrongs towards women. The story has a circular narrative as it ends in Italy also.
Seven women. One will make amends. Six will seek revenge.
“The bag sat on a display shelf in the main window of the second-hand shop, waiting for her to come. Captivatingly black, if you looked close enough you could see it almost pulsing with a keen breath…patiently watching, waiting.
Aella Saluagius stood back to admire her handiwork, the glamour was in place and ready, all that was needed now was some good fortune and the pull of the waxing moon.”
She had found them all again. The question was could she help them and in return, would they rise to the ultimate challenge? Misogyny comes in many forms, but then so does vengeance. Seven women’s stories, all different but achingly familiar. Which one will resonate with you?
Take a magical journey of Sisterhood, together we are unstoppable.

Author Bio:
I am originally from a small market town in the South of England but a few years ago, my husband and I upped sticks and left the UK for rugged and rural France. We’d had enough of the rat race and decided to jump, with both feet, into a different, but much simpler existence.
In my previous life, I was an English teacher to students who needed a bit of extra help to learn. I loved my job, the students being the highlight of my days. I have also taught Academic Writing at a further education college.
Nowadays my time is spent writing, sporadically helping my husband renovate our old stone farmhouse, and looking after our two enormous dogs. I have a blog documenting our life here and the ups and downs of renovations in a language that we’re not fluent in.
I’ve always adored reading and storytelling. With a book you’re never bored, you can escape into it wherever you may be. I am passionate about telling women’s stories, I have been a feminist for as long as I can remember. I think it all started when I gathered a petition together at my secondary school because the girls weren’t allowed to wear trousers! Our voices have been muted for too long, hopefully, I can tell the stories of the hundreds of women I have spoken to over the years.
