About Share the Pain:
A story of tragedy and sacrifice
He arrived in the derelict village as a broken man, having left behind all he once knew and severing his attachments with the world. He wanted to be left alone.
His world now consisted of an old, rundown bed and breakfast and a long-forgotten pub in an abandoned village. His personal tragedy was too much to bear, and he sought an end to it all. Fate, however, had other plans for him, plans that would take him on a journey far beyond his imagination.
Haunted by demons from his past and personal tragedy, his present and past became entwined in unexpected ways. Memories of regret filled his mind, and as he attempted to make amends, he found it was too late.
When he decided to end his pain, his plan took a tragic turn, leaving him lost and alone in a dark, treacherous forest. As the rain fell and the wind howled, his own tragedy materialized, and reality and hallucination became indistinguishable. Only a miracle could save him.
Lost and alone, contemplating a way out, he met a gentle woman with her own painful history. Soon, emotions grew, and despite her love being one-sided, she saw him as her salvation and offered to share her pain with him, hoping to alleviate his suffering. Their fates became intertwined, and he found himself bound by the vow they had made. But when the woman disappeared without a trace, leaving him a circumstantial suspect in the eyes of the police, he regretted ever setting foot in the village.
He was teetering on the brink of madness, tormented by sickening voices in his head as he waited for an end to this harrowing episode of the disappeared woman.
This is a story of love, tragedy, and regret, a tale of redemption and absolution, and the conflict between emotions and actions that can weigh heavily on the conscience. It is a haunting reminder that the past is never truly gone. This story will leave a lasting impression on the reader, offering a profound understanding of the human experience.

M I A Harba’s novels strive to dig deep in the minds of the characters, to bring out their intense emotions, whether in love, hate, or revenge. It also paints their frame of mind as a backdrop to whatever tragic actions they take.
Being of technical background – associate professor of Electronics and former CEO of a Telecoms company – his writing had been mainly technical, published in books and scientific journals.
Yet, his passion for writing fiction has always been with him since childhood. His recent novels are a fulfillment of a life-long dream, and, hopefully, they will provide good reading too.
