For Shadow Theatre, Pritchard drew strong influence from Brandon Sanderson, as well as some minor influence from Joe Abercrombie and Patrick Rothfuss. Utilizing a style evocative of scripts written for stage plays, Pritchard tells the story of two men – one guided and one manipulated – by a forgotten god pulling all the strings.
