Author Bio:
Ms. Hartquist has been a financial educator for over 35 years, first in her home state of LA, and now in Northern VA. She graduated from Louisiana State University in New Orleans with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. She taught 5th & 6th grades, then went into real estate, being named Woman Investor of the year, founded A La Carte Real Estate, the largest marketer of HUD and VA repossessed properties in the south, then founded Hartquist Investments which taught real estate investing, while running a mortgage origination company. Simultaneously, she became a speaker and taught personal development to organizations with Leadership Management International. Putting all this experience together, she realized her passion was to teach personal finance and help other develop their lives to the fullest in retirement. Thus, she founded her two companies she uses to help those nearing and in retirement to reach their life’s goals.
