No one thinks anything of it, after all death isn’t unheard of at a retirement village. But Alice is convinced there’s more to it. Dusting off her old skills, she enlists the help of Vanessa a young staff member, to be somewhat reluctant sidekick. Alice is determined to find out the truth of why her friend died and who did it.

My name is Rodney Strong, and I’m an author from Porirua, New Zealand, where I live with my family, including two young kittens. Honestly it’s like having toddlers in the house again. I have been writing full time for seven years and mainly write cozy murder mysteries as I think it should be more about the characters and the mystery than the violence. But being a murder mystery there is of course murder, but it’s mostly off the page.
