Poison People by J. Traveler Pelton LISW-S
We’ve all met them; people for whom the rules of society and kindness means nothing. They trample over others, they take up your time, resources and patience. There was a reason Christ called them snakes, whited sepulchers and hypocrites; and they have only gotten worse. Learn how to defend yourself and your family, your work and your ministry from the ones who are doing their best to suck out all the energy and leave you a hull. Written by a lay minister who is also an LISW-S with over 25 years’ experience dealing with hurting people, this book helps you sort who you can help and who will be a drain you can’t afford. From the Queen Bees to the Liars, the Imposters and the Con men, this book shows you simple ways to disentangle you from their clutches before they do you real harm.
