Pleasure Party: An unputdownable psychological thriller by Hugh O. Smith
In a New Jersey suburb two best friends host a Pleasure Party.
It’s supposed to be a fun gathering with decadent snacks and homemade sangria.
At least that’s the plan, until a gun-wielding guest out for revenge takes the party hostage.
Laura is angry. You would be too if some young hussy stole your husband and ruined your life. But now Laura finally caught up to her and she’ll show her and this bunch of other losers just what happens to homewreckers.
Bianca has a secret… one that could tear her family apart. She did the worst thing she could have done with the last person in the world she should have done it with. Thank God she’s got a BFF like…
Kristin was shocked when Bianca confided in her. But she’s got a secret too. One that she’ll never tell. She’s breaking the biggest rule in the BFF rulebook.
Veronica didn’t mean to fall for a married man but what’s done is done. A bitter, angry Laura is after her for taking her husband, but what Laura doesn’t know is Veronica is not as helpless as she seems.
Tina is a mom, a wife, and executive. She’s busy. Like all busy people she needs stress relief and hers is her young lover Maya. But Maya caught feelings. She’s not playing her position. And now Tina’s got a decision to make.
Maya knew what she was getting into. Side chick – why not? It’ll be fun. Or so she thought. Now Maya is in love. Deeply! But her lover Tina will never give up her career, 2.5 kids and suburban life. But Maya’s love is strong. She’ll convince Tina. Eventually!
Brooke started at the bottom now she’s here. But “here” doesn’t do it for her. “Here” doesn’t scratch that itch. So she goes back to the “bottom” to get what she needs. And she never leaves unscathed. The “bottom” leaves marks. Bruises. Scars. And she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Life is great for Gloria! Money, beautiful home, healthy grandkids, a serial cheater for a husband. Ok, well maybe not so great. But you wouldn’t know it looking at her. Gloria is all about image, so she makes sure everything looks… Perfect. But that takes a toll. Holding it all in, makes her angry. And now, she just might have an outlet for all that anger.
Deepa doesn’t ask for much. Just a little #love and appreciation. Sadly, she never gets it. So she’s through asking. She’s going to find it on her own. Any way she can.
Jessica is a hustler. She works hard. Things are good, but her husband doesn’t think so. He thinks something is wrong with their relationship. He claims he loves her. But she can’t trust his love. She wants to… But how?
It’s not long before the terrifying scenario affects all the women present. Bold truths are spoken. Secrets long kept in the dark are dragged kicking and screaming into the light, and unexpected bonds formed. No one will be the same and maybe not everyone will survive to tell about it.
Fans of Paula Hawkins and Kiersten Modglin will enjoy this warped novel of love, lust, revenge and terrible, terrible choices.
