Out of the Ashes by Sophie O'Neil
The wild welsh farmer was infuriating, so why couldn’t she tear her eyes away from him?
When her life imploded at the age of forty-two, Heather needed to escape. Wales, the safe and idyllic home of her late grandmother, seemed the perfect place to lie low. Getting stranded in the countryside on her arrival, and being rescued by the world’s most infuriating man was certainly not part of the plan.
She tried to avoid him, wanting to surround herself with beautiful scenery, not sullen men, no matter how well he cleaned up. But she couldn’t escape him, living on the same farm, she soon came to see a gentler side to him, a side that was warm and caring towards the animals he tended and the people he classed as his family.
Tormented by the loss of his first love and bearing the physical and mental scars, Ianto believed he was destined to live the rest of his life alone. But the American woman who stormed her way into his life was both infuriating yet alluring. Behind the mask she put on she was just a hurt woman, scared for how her life will unfold.
A summer fling could be the answer to both their needs. A temporary reprieve to bring them both happiness in the dark times and have some fun along the way.
But what will happen when Heather returns home to America, unaware of the surprise bundle of joy growing in her belly?
