About Of Water and Flames, by Harley Ness:
Of Water and Flames is the second book in the Horizon series, a slow-burn Elven and human fantasy romance inspired by the concept of soul mates. Book Synopsis:
Shadows and danger are mounting… and not just for Thea, but for those she loves.
After the Myrkalfar clan’s deadly attack, Thea and Dean find themselves drawn deeper into the clan’s darkness. Thea doesn’t understand why she’s being hunted. Or why her dreams are being invaded by a hauntingly beautiful woman.
As Thea’s instincts and internal fire grow, she heeds the warnings of the ancient spirits, and turns to Arlen for help. She soon discovers that she must confront her past… and the sacred and mystical Elven world that’s been shrouded in secrets for centuries.
She’s about to find out who she really is, and what she’s been running from. It will change everything, forever.
Once she learns the truth, Thea must choose: Continue hiding from her past, or face it—even if it means she may lose everything, including her own life.

Author Bio:
I’m a new Australian author who lives a whisper away from the ocean with my husband, our two daughters, and our pet fish. I love watching the sunset through my backyard, the way the air feels right before it rains, and a good glass or red wine (or two!)
I’m a hopeless romantic, and always love the stories of an instant and innate connection between two characters – the kind where they don’t fall in love, but they’re pulled towards each other like a magnet!
I began to write my own narrative, and quickly fell in love with storytelling. After immersing myself in my characters, their story flowed off the pages. Supported by my family, I continued to write… and so the Horizon series was born.
