Author Bio:
Martin’s recent journey has taken him firsthand through the dark halls of suicide and brought to the forefront the constant struggle for peace in his personal walk. He wrote and published his book Ladders to Peace with tagline “walking alongside at-risk youth.” This book reflects that recent dark experience and is set against the backdrop of the wisdom of years of exposure to many who struggle and often succeed in overcoming adversity. It acts as a warning sign to what could happen if we do not recognize. The book also uses his experience to share tools and tips on how to avoid the ultimate act.
Martin’s current focus is on launching a coaching business for male parents and mentors of at-risk youth. The intent is to assist the parent accept the reality that they are not to blame for their child’s actions. This acceptance will open to doors to them being guided to a healthier space where they can begin understanding their youth and guide them in a more positive direction.
