About Islanders: The Pacific Chronicles:
I loved the combination of history, lore, education, entertainment…and I absolutely loved Eleu and Molawa.”

Author Bio:
This book was written and illustrated as the first installment of an original epic story by two brothers who grew up on the Big Island running around Waikoloa, Waimea, Honoka’a and Mililani barefoot.
We built tree forts, slid down grassy hills on cardboard, caught tadpoles and frogs, explored coral reefs and lava tubes, and pretended there were Menehune among us that only we could see.
While this is a work of fiction, we proudly reference locations, people and creatures from Hawaiian legends and mythology out of respect for the brightly colorful history the culture has to offer. We encourage you to look into the real-life works themselves: Hawaii has a treasure trove of tales that are fascinating and will enrich your mind.
