I AM DRAGON by Brian J Green
My name is Randall Erik Ddraik.
I’m a Dragon.
Randall works as a security consultant, bodyguard, and all-around badass for hire, working for the supernatural elite, and the occasional human who’s wealthy enough to afford him. Case in point, his current client Annalisa VanSusstern, one of the world’s richest humans. Humiliatingly, she’s just been kidnapped right out from under his nose, almost costing Randall his life in the process.
Annalisa is in Randall’s care, which means he’s taken an oath to keep her safe, so nothing short of his death will stop him from rescuing her. As he navigates through LA’s hidden supernatural world, fighting to get her back, he discovers hidden, and dangerous, secrets about her. It turns out Annalisa isn’t human, and worse, she’s the key to unleashing a catastrophe the likes of which the world has never seen. Randall has only three days to find her and stop it.

Author Bio:
Brian J. Green has been writing in some way, shape, or form for thirty-six years. He started on a whim, trying his hand at cartoons because he was a die-hard Looney Tunes fanboy. From cartoons he switched to screenplays and after spending over twenty years in the screen-world, he wanted a change. He decided to try his hand at writing a novel, a format that would allow him the freedom to world-build and fully develop his characters, without the restrictions of worrying about producers, directors, actors, or budgets.
“It’ll be so much easier!” He stupidly thought to himself. Several (ahem, many… honestly, 13) years later, his first novel – I AM DRAGON, was born.
Brian has always been a fantasy geek and a huge fan of Dragons, probably from too much D&D as a boy (and as an adult, honestly. He still plays weekly). So, a book about Dragons felt perfect, but not your ‘normal’ kind of Dragons. He set out to create a story that had familiar tropes, but would flip them on their collective heads, in an urban fantasy taking place in the present day. His Dragons wouldn’t be giant, winged monsters. Wizards wouldn’t always be sage and wise… or sober. Supernatural creatures from myth and lore would abound, but most often wouldn’t behave, talk, or even look like what one would expect.
When Brian is not using his hands to write, he can usually be found upside-down standing on them, or using them to balance or hold other people up, while engaging in acrobatic shenanigans, or twisting the throttle of one of his motorcycles. As a writer, hand-balancer, acro-yogi, juggler, and lover of all things movement-related, Brian’s hands get a lot of work.
Brian lives in Grass Valley, California.
