Hand of Retribution by K. L. Bedwell
Brianna Hatherd wants nothing more than any other college freshman. Independence. A touch of adulthood. To be away from her small hometown. And for a brief moment, she achieves that goal. Until she receives word of a home invasion, which yields a terrifying outcome.
Thrust back into Cullton, Pennsylvania, the town she thought she had left forever, Bri finds her family in shambles. Determined for answers, she gets stonewalled in every attempt to find a resolution. With seemingly nowhere to turn, Bri prays for justice. A plea for at least one person to see her heartache and intervene.
Soon after Bri’s cry for help, mysterious, supernatural deaths crop up in Cullton. As she musters the energy to continue her fight for answers, suspicion over those mysterious deaths is cast her way. Only when a stranger reaches out to Bri does she learn the most inconceivable revelation about the happenings in her hometown, and the price of answered prayers.

Author Bio:
I’m a Floridian originally, born in Ft. Myers. During my early elementary school days, my family shifted to the east coast and moved north, where I reside with my wife. Father of two daughters who has spread their wings and ventured out in pursuit of their dreams.
Much like you, or maybe not, I live a normal life. Just one pant leg at a time. After graduating high school, I served in the Army National Guard as I jumped into the workforce, landing square on the bottom rung of the ladder. Like many of you can relate, I Kicked and clawed myself to where I am today. High, low, good, bad, or somewhere in-between, all I can say is the journey’s been a heck of a ride. A rollercoaster for sure. As an entrepreneur, I’ve learned what it means to burn the midnight oil. Igniting that flame once again while earning a business degree. So, cracking my eyes open after three hours of sleep (if I’m lucky) and kissing the family goodbye as they slumber is not an untraveled path for me.
The art of storytelling has always fascinated me. I find it awe-inspiring the way people will captivate an audience with their animated and charismatic narrations. Finding myself caught at the crossroads of life, I stand contemplating which direction to head. Then after a long, hard deliberation with myself and my family, my wife whispers, “Go for it.” Now with my thoughts and imagination on paper, I brace myself for another ride on the rollercoaster of life.
