Author Bio:
Ruthie Godfrey has been elementary education for over 20 years. She is dedicated to writing children’s books to both educate and entertain. She uses a variety of stories in her own classroom to open up conversations with kids, and strives to write stories that share important themes and truths about life. Her “Grandpa’s Lessons” series focuses on the life lessons that can be learned through everyday activities.
Ruthie was inspired to write this particular book, Grandpa’s Lessons on Fishing and Life, while attending the Pacific Coast Sportfishing Show in February 2019. She was sitting in a booth with her husband, and she noticed how many families with young children were walking around with their new fishing gear and smiles on their faces.
