Author Bio:

Vesa Turpeinen is an accomplished corporate pilot and flight instructor with thousands of flight hours spanning a 20-year career. He currently serves as the Captain of a Bombardier Global 7500 aircraft based in Singapore.

Originally from Helsinki, Finland, Vesa’s aviation journey began at the North American Institute of Aviation in South Carolina. He furthered his education with an MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida. His career includes roles as Assistant Chief Flight Instructor at Beijing Panam International Aviation Academy and Chief Flight Instructor at Tianjin Jeppesen International Flight Academy. For the last decade, he has been flying several types of corporate jets worldwide.

Beyond the cockpit, Vesa is an award-winning author of the “Pilot Career Series,” offering insights into flight training and aviation careers. He is also the creator of the “FunkyPilot Academy” comic series, which often draws inspiration from real-life aviation experiences.

In his personal life, Vesa is an avid long-distance runner, regularly participating in marathons, and is currently training for triathlons. A passionate reader and audiobook enthusiast, he continually seeks to expand his knowledge and experiences. His diverse interests and experiences enrich his storytelling, making his works relatable and engaging for readers.
