Dr. Deloris R. Benjamin is a two-time graduate of Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU) and a lifelong, multilevel educator. She completed a terminal degree in Educational Leadership, Higher Education at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in 2014. Crisis management in educational settings was Dr. Benjamin’s research focus throughout her doctoral studies. With higher education administration experience in Student Affairs, her previous work includes crisis management, student advocacy, and safety policy development and implementation. Dr. Benjamin is currently a literacy educator with a passion for writing books. Her upcoming book titles include From Now On: How to Fortify Schools to Save Lives and The Long Road Back to Student Achievement: Making up for Lost Time.
