Featured Interview With Devon Ellington

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I’m a full-time writer, publishing under multiple names in multiple genres. I spent the bulk of my life and work in New York City, working backstage on Broadway and in film and television production. I used to live a block away from Times Square — you could see the ball on New Year’s Eve from my window. I now live on Cape Cod. I am owned by cats, although once I buy a house, I will add dogs back into the mix. I’m interested in almost everything, which means I write about almost everything. I’m also an internationally-produced playwright and radio writer. I’m passionate about radio.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I started reading before I was three. I started writing when I was six. My first published work was in school literary magazines, and I started writing plays in middle school. I wrote for the local paper during high school. In college, writing took a backseat as I worked in production for theatre and film. I lived in San Francisco and Seattle for awhile, working my way up in theatre, and then back to NYC, where I worked my way up to Broadway. I started writing again while off-Broadway, Actresses were frustrated by the lack of good monologues; I started writing for them, and they landed jobs. That expanded into plays, and then I went back to writing short stories and novels, all while working full-time in theatre.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I read just about anything and everything, as long as it’s not written in the present tense. I can’t stand novels in the present tense. I read mostly historical fiction, mystery, thriller, suspense, fantasy, science fiction, literary, and paranormal. I read a lot of non-fiction, too, and I have an extensive collection of published women’s journals throughout history.

Shakespeare continues to be a favorite. He’s still relevant.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
The book that released in October 2017 is PLAYING THE ANGLES, the first Coventina Circle novel, which is paranormal romantic suspense.

Witchcraft, politics, and theatre collide as Morag D’Anneville and Secret Service agent Simon Keane fight to protect the Vice President of the United States — or is it Morag who needs Simon’s protection more than the VP?

Witch and theatre professional Morag D’Anneville is annoyed when she’s assigned to dress the conservative Vice President as he makes a surprise appearance in his favorite Broadway show. Even more irritating, she has to teach Agent Simon Keane, part of the security detail, the backstage ropes in preparation. A strong attraction flares between them which they both recognize is doomed, and Simon must also fight his superior’s prejudice that Morag’s beliefs make her a threat to the Vice President. When Morag is attacked, Simon’s loyalties are torn between protecting the man he’s sworn to protect, and protecting the woman he loves.

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
My lifespan stretched across the beautiful rolling hills of southern Poland’s countryside where I spent childhood holidays, smog covered balcony and the bustle of an industrial mining town Katowice, the tropical humid Queensland, and my current hometown Sydney.
As far back as I remember I cherished the feeling of closeness and connection with people and had a good friend on hand to reflect with, write with, or sing with. It is not surprising I decided on a counseling career while indulging in writing on the side, as an outlet for personal reflections.
My particular interest was in helping women feel valued and find their own source of strength and connection with themselves while raising awareness about so many ways in which they still continue to find themselves at a disadvantage. I put this within a Christian context and my new release “Liberating Inner Eve” was born.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I am sure that I could qualify for the title of the world’s greatest bookworm. While I was studying and working full-time, I spent all of my free time reading about the psychology of self and delving into the mysteries of the Christian faith. This was a priority for me at the time, I longed to understand as much as possible about human behavior, coping, physiology, and spirituality, so that I could optimally serve clients within my counseling role. Later in life it was more important for me to introspect within myself and learn from my clients, from the patterns I was seeing and from what worked in my responding to them. I wanted to express all this in writing. However, I loved the art of writing and beautiful stationary and calligraphy instruments from a very young age.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
My favorite fiction authors include Kate Chopin and Philipa Gregory, I also enjoy English writers from the 18th and 19th Centuries. I love authors who offer deep reflections and are creative in how they present them. I enjoy reading works by Scott Peck or Gary Chapman, I love Christian authors who offer psychological insight.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
Liberating Inner Eve came about as a result of my concern about seeing so many female clients who valued themselves in a limited way and seeing so many subtle ways in which they experienced a lack of equal privileges. In “Liberating Inner Eve” I address many themes/expectations/beliefs that I commonly come across that contribute to this, on many levels including historical, social, or interpersonal. I combine Christian and psychological insights to help readers nourish an ever deeper experience of self-love and personal strength.

Featured Interview With Michael B. Koep

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was born, raised and still live in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. I don’t have any pets. I do love the idea of having a floppy eared rabbit live in my studio (probably because of reading Watership Down when I was young). I would name her Hazel. Read to her. Run story ideas by her. See if it is possible to train her to turn the lights on and off, turn the stereo up and down— possibly make coffee. But so far, I’ve not met the right roommate rabbit.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
My love affair with reading began when I was nine—some time after seeing Star Wars in 1977, and then seeing Ralph Bakshi’s animated version of The Lord of the Rings at a downtown theater. That interest in fantasy and Sci-Fi led my nose between the covers of books. Writing my own stories and journaling began in grade school. At ten I attempted my first book—a Tolkienesque epic complete with a language, maps and illustrations (I still have it). In Jr. High and High School I discovered rock music and the drum kit. Journal content then shifted to the essays about juggling teenage life as a drummer. And as my music obsession deepened I started penning lyrics—an interest I continue to work at.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I’ll still try to carve out time to read Tolkien every other fall, if I can. That trilogy to me is much like a favorite record or song. I read several genres at the same time and my interests are all over the place. I went through a long phase of biographies. I enjoy books on travel. There’s usually a new book of poetry laying around. My most recent favorites: Yuval Noah Harari’s Sapiens and Homo Deus, Anthony Doerr’s All The Light We Cannot See. I’m currently reading a not yet published manuscript on Geoffrey Chaucer.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
Psychologist Loche Newirth becomes hunted when he sees a painting that opens a window onto the afterlife. An ancient order of men seeking to control the art pursue him across the world through centuries, into madness and beyond. The first part of Michael B. Koep’s The Newirth Mythology-The Invasion of Heaven is mystery, adventure, myth, betrayal, murder and madness.

Psychologist Loche Newirth wonders if it was his fall: the fifty foot drop rom the rocky cliff to the icy water below. Is this why he has been hallucinating? Or is it because one of his clients is dead, or his mentor has gone mad or that his wife is leaving him? He can’t bring himself to believe what he has been seeing. Insane things like a massive, searching eye. He sees it in the water below the cliff. He sees it in mirrors, on walls: a massive, crystal blue iris and fathomless pupil there in the center of his life, looking at him.

To find the answer, Loche pens the recent events of his life into a book and leaves the work behind for his mentor, Doctor Marcus Reardon, to interpret. As Reardon reads, he plunges into the harrowing depths of Loche’s reality: his loss of a client, the discovery of an unknown past, an ancient conflict over possession of the human condition, the awesome reality of the gods walking among us, and the crimes of humanity invading the hope that lies beyond the grave.

And along the way, Loche tells of unforgettable characters: the torn and manic housewife that teeters on the edge of sanity, and the depressed, swashbuckling swordsman that believes he is over six hundred years old, the stoned and prolific painter and his perilous work he must keep secret, and the beautiful business woman that abandons her life’s work for a love she never expected.

Featured Interview With Jordan Petrarca

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was born near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (so I’m a huge Steelers fan) and then moved up to northern Pennsylvania when I was just nine years old. I have resided there ever since and now live with my wife and identical twin girls. Such a blessing my little girls are.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
As far back as I can remember I have always been fascinated with books. When I was in first grade I was obsessed with “Where’s Waldo”, but when I began to read really well, my favorite book as a kid was “Charlotte’s Web”. I must have read it a hundred times…I started writing when I was a kid as well, but I really knew I wanted to be a writer when I was in sixth grade. For a writing assignment, I wrote a play called, “The Murder of Big Bird”. The teacher liked it so much she had me put on a play performance for the whole class.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
My favorite authors are Maria Puzo, Stephen King, Robert Jordan, Terry Goodkind, E.B. White, Brandon Sanderson, and George R.R. Martin…When I was younger I was obsessed with Organized Crime novels, but as I got older, I became fascinated with fantasy. I love being taken into a world of pure imagination…My biggest inspiration is my wife and kids, no doubt.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
My latest book is called “Blood and Roses”. It’s a cross genre of Fantasy and Organized Crime, which takes place in a world where organized crime families possess magical artifacts that give them special magical powers. The power they receive from these artifacts help them ultimately control everything in the world. My inspiration for this book was my love for “The Godfather” and the “Final Fantasy” video game series. I have been told numerous times that I came up with a very original idea…It took me about a year to write it. The first half of the book I wrote before my twins were born, and then the second half I managed to finish the first six months of their lives.

Featured Interview With David Lui

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was born and raised in Hong Kong, China. I still live there to this day; in fact, I have never stayed in another country for more than 2 months.

Fun fact: I gave myself my English name because I’m Chinese and my parents only gave me a Chinese name. I attended the same international school from grades one to twelve. As you can imagine, this created a language dichotomy in my brain; I only spoke English at school, and Cantonese (Chinese) at home. English won the battle for my mind, and so here I am, writing and reading in English. I’m ashamed to say I can’t write any Chinese besides my name.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I’ve always had an interest in writing, but never considered myself a writer (I’m still coming to terms with the fact that I’m an author). My mother was an avid storyteller, lulling me to sleep most nights with bedtime stories that were told over and over again. So I grew up loving stories. But it wasn’t until high school, where my English teacher praised my writing, that I realized my literary potential. Despite the revelation, I never managed to complete a short story until my university years. “When Hope Calls” is my firstborn in the sense that it is the first story I have persevered with for more than five pages (I usually get bored after three pages and abandon the story).

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
Besides the Bible (I’m a Christian), I would say Les Miserables. It was the first book I ever read that had so many plot twists and intriguing characters; it was most definitely the first “mind-blown” moment of my life. There are so many life-changing themes packed into the story of Jean Valjean that I believe speaks to every single person from every walk of life. I still have no idea how Victor Hugo managed to create such a masterpiece.

My writing style is interesting in that I assimilate the syntax of the author that I happen to be reading when I write, which is fun in terms of self-exploration, but difficult in terms of consistency. I would say that the greatest influence on my writing has been Charles Dickens, because he is just so masterful at creating memorable and realistic characters. I’m trying to learn how to show a character’s personality rather than tell it in words, something Dickens and C. S. Lewis did with such ease.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
“When Hope Calls” is a gripping story about a group of people who decided to do their small part in facing the global evil of human trafficking. There is no happy ending. There are no heroes. The protagonists are a ragtag team of three humanitarian workers and a few local helpers. Their world is the same one we live in, and every single one of us has to make the same choice as they did: Do we take a step, or do we ignore our heart? I wouldn’t go so far to say my book is a must-read, but I believe its value lies in its message of hope; we must open our eyes to the darkness in the world around us, and do something about it, all without losing hope. There will be so many sad endings, so many failures, so many mishaps. But what is the human experience without hope? What is life without hope?

The idea of my book was conceived when I read my mentor, Matt Friedman’s book, titled “Where Were You?” In it, he mentions the story of a kidnapped girl who managed to call an NGO with her cellphone. But there was no elaboration, no details, which drove me mad with curiosity. I had to know what happened. So I emailed him, and he encouraged me to dramatize the story, and I did (with a gargantuan amount of help from him).

Honestly, I never imagined I would ever write a book, let alone one on human trafficking. It is such a depressing topic, and the stories are rarely happy. But writing is the ability I was given, and I know in my heart of hearts that, if I don’t use my abilities for a cause bigger than myself, I would be wasting them completely.

Featured Interview With Maxine Sylvester

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was born in London, England. I loved art as a child and I took private lessons with an amazing teacher called Pearl Lee. She had a mountain of Disney magazines and I would do huge paintings of the characters for my nephews and nieces.
In my teens, I developed a passion for travel. I abandoned art and worked as a holiday representative in Greece, Turkey and Cyprus. I then worked onboard cruise ships where I met my partner, Mark. Although I loved the exotic ports, I found my work unfulfilling. Mark accepted a job in Moscow so we left the ships and I returned to my first love – art!
I enrolled in the College of Cartoon Art and was mentored by British cartoonist/caricaturist Steve Chadburn. I then completed further studies in children’s book illustration with illustrator, Jan Nesbitt. After stints in Palestine and Armenia, Mark and I finally settled in Bali, Indonesia, where Mark became a partner in a Scuba Diving school, and I wrote my first children’s book.
We have no pets, but plenty of cockerels and dogs in the street to keep us company!

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
My earliest memory is of a giant book of Disney Fairy Tales. I loved the brightly coloured illustrations; I think that’s where my love of art began. My first reading books were Winnie the Pooh and Paddington Bear. As I grew up I read anything by Enid Blyton, The Famous Five and Secret Seven books. I also loved The Railway Children by E. Nesbitt.
I started writing three years ago. I wanted a reason to illustrate so decided to write a short story about a character I had developed, a young reindeer called Ronaldo. I had no idea that I had such an imagination because once I started writing, I couldn’t stop. The book went from a picture book to a full-blown chapter book. I can honestly say I love writing as much as illustrating and enjoy flitting between the two.
I am now working on a colour version of my first book, Ronaldo: The Reindeer Flying Academy. A few reviewers mentioned they would have preferred colour illustrations, so I thought a colour edition would be perfect for Christmas. I aim to publish the book at the beginning of November.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I read all sorts! I loved the Harry Potter books; they were like picking up old friends. I have so much respect for J.K. Rowling. The whole world waited with baited breath for her books and she never disappointed.
I also love a good thriller. I’ve read all of Sidney Sheldon’s books and most of Lee Childs, Jack Reacher series. If ever I feel anxious or wracked with self-doubt, I read Dr Wayne Dyer. His gentle words always encourage me. I think he’s a must for anyone in this industry!
Walt Disney has always been my biggest inspiration. I am a total Disney geek and get as excited as a five-year-old whenever a new Disney film comes out. I have just finished a book on Walt Disney. What a visionary! I think my stories come from a lifetime of watching Disney movies.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
I have just published, Ronaldo: Rudí’s Birthday Extravaganza. It’s the third book in the Ronaldo the Flying Reindeer series. It’s perfect for children aged 6-10 years and available from Amazon.com.
I had so much fun writing it. There is flying, magic and a lot of laughs. I think children (and parents) are going to find the story really funny and love the illustrations – there are 85 including the cover illustration!
Synopsis
Ronaldo and Rudi are beside themselves with excitement: Monty the Moose, the most incredible Magician in the whole world is performing at Rudi’s birthday party!
But before the festivities begin, there’s the important matter of The Reindeer Flyover, an ancient tradition of The Reindeer Flying Academy that marks the end of school term. But Rudi might not be able to fly. He has injured his hoof and refuses to see Doctor Kloppen. Rudi is terrified of needles and, rumour has it, the Doctor’s needle is the size of a rocket!
Meanwhile, Ronaldo meets celebrity baker, Mrs Sorensson, and offers to deliver her cakes to ‘Carrot’s ‘N’ Cakes’ bakery before flying school. The weather is hot so Ronaldo rushes through the forest so he can deliver the cakes before the icing melts. But, trouble is lurking in the woods. Dasher and his menacing brothers, Comet and Prancer, are hiding in the bushes. Waiting for Ronaldo!

Featured Interview With J.D Sinclair

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I am a tenth generation Texan, and History Buff. I served as a Contract Administrator for General Dynamics, and as a Senior Contract Administrator for The Jet Propulsion Laboratory, holding a Secret Clearance in both positions.

J.D. Sinclair is a pen name which I use because of the sometimes controversial nature of his novels. The Sword of Islam, for example, an erotic thriller, exposes one of the most serious and avoidable national security blunders of the century, the failure to destroy the Stealth Drone captured by Iran in 2011.

This blunder is so appalling it proves Einsteins observation, “The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.”

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I became an avid reader by age seven. I did not start writing novels until I was over 50. This book is an attempt at a new genre a spy novel in which the characters are based on real historical figures. I used Mata Hari, Otto Skorzeny, and 80 dollar Wu [A chinese warlord] as the basis for some of my characters.

In my novel the spies really do use sex to get information. The spies and their hunters are also ruthless, as they are in real life.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
My favorite authors are varied, Ian Fleming, Winston Churchill, Tom Clancy are among my favorites.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
In this book the Israeli spy Suji, is based on Mata Hari. Like Mata Hari she uses sex to get information and her handlers really put her to use.

The book also details the planning of a large scale commando raid.

Featured Interview With KC Cowan

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was born and grew up in Portland, Oregon, which, trust me, was NOT the hipster hangout back then that it is today! I still live in the City of Roses, with my husband, Glenn. However, we just purchased a winter home in Tucson. Portland is known for its heavy rain and grey skies in the winter and Glenn just couldn’t take it anymore! So, now, we’ll be splitting our time between two wonderful cities!

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
My mother taught me to read at age 4 because I was so jealous that my brother and sister could already go to school and I couldn’t. So, we played school and I learned how to read quite early. It lead to a life-long love of books. To be able to dive into a novel and be utterly transported to a new place has been a delight my entire life and I still love to hold a new book in my hands.
I began writing early, too, and my mother always encouraged me. She told me I should be a writer, but I thought in order to be a novelist, you needed a good idea for a book and I didn’t have one! So, I set my creative writing aside and became a journalist — a different kind of writing, but very satisfying. It was only in my mid 50’s, when my co-author, Sara, resurrected our joint effort at a fantasy novel we did in college, that my love for creative writing resurfaced. Now, I love building a creative world populated with wonderful characters for readers!

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I tend to love female authors who write about strong women (like Sara and I do in our books!). I love Amy Tan, Elizabeth Gilbert, Jane Austen, Nicole Mones. I recently finished two novels written in the 1940’s by Nancy Mitford that I absolutely adored.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
When we finished “Journey to Wizards’ Keep” we left the reader not knowing if Queen Irene gives birth to a baby boy, which would be a wizard, or a mortal girl. I loved the ending, but couldn’t stop thinking about Irene — what DID she have? Finally, I sat down and wrote the first chapter, in which she gives birth to twins: a boy and a girl. I sent it to my friend, Sara, and asked if she wanted to keep the story going. She responded with an enthusiastic “Yes! and I know just what this book is about!” From just the first chapter, she had an entire story arc outlined! We wrote it, alternating chapters, just as we did in college with the first book, and met regularly to work out issues. As before, I acted as the overall editor to give it a unified voice. While we were writing Book 2, I was polishing Book 1, to get it ready for publication — it gave us the chance to go back and slip little things in the first novel that we decided were important in Book 2~ which was a lot of fun!
The Hunt for Winter is a more complex plot than our first novel and we are very pleased with it and hope our readers will be, too!

Featured Interview With Rita Avaud A.Najm

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
My name is Rita Avaud A.Najm. I am an American-Lebanese mother of two amazing boys. I was born and raised In Ashrafiyeh, Lebanon, one of the eastern part of Beirut. Because of France’s historic ties to the region, including its League of Nations mandate over Lebanon following World War I, French became the second language in Lebanon.
I never thought that i will use the language that i studied for more than 20 years until i came to Utah. I felt so glade to know that many public and private schools offer dual immersion French program. That made start writing about the “Petite Rita,” a french little girl who came from Paris with her family to the United States of America.
Both of my published volumes don’t have a story about Rita having a pet, since most of the stories are about my childhood, and i never had a pet until I was in my twenties.
It was a lovely cute white female Lhasa Apso. We loved her so much but because she broke our hearts when we lost her, I decided not to have pets anymore.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
Before Utah, I lived for more then five years in Houston, Texas. I even went there back to college and studied Business Management. My graduation project was a guide for parents and teachers to encourage students to read more poetry.
My Guide and “La Petite Rita” were not my only books. I actually started writing when i was 7 years old. My humble works were mostly plays, song lyrics, and Arabic poetry.
In middle school, we had to read for Moliere, Voltaire and Jean-Jacques Rousseau.
Victor Hugo’s novels, especially “Les Miserables” and “The Hatchback of Notre-Dame de Paris”, left a mark and made me fall in love with this kind of books until now.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
Besides Victor Hugo, I also love to read for Alexandre Dumas, Author of “Le Comte de Monte Cristo” and “The Three Musketeers.”
This genre of adventure romance is my favorite, as well as any books that have to do with art, since i am a painter.
Biographies about famous artists like Van Gough, DeGas, and of course Micheal Angelo and Leonardo de Vinci are the second most favorite genre to read about.
Those who inspire me in my writing are my children. I love their thoughts and imagination. They remind me of my innocent childhood and their presence makes me put in words my precious memories.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
My two books or volumes of “La Petite Rita” are about a little French girl who came with her family to live in the United States of America.
The cute smart little girl was shy because of her French accent, but her adventures and her love to her school and friends made her popular.
Each volume has 5 stories where the reader can also learn some French common words while enjoying reading.
Some short sentences in the conversions between Rita and her mother Antoinette are in French.
“Bonjour ma petite fille” (good morning my little girl)… “Je t’aime beaucoup” (I love you so much)…
These words are all translated at the bottom of each page.
These books were a dream that became true… More other books to come …. Wish me luck
Enjoy them…

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I wanted to write a book since I could hold a pencil in my hand. It took 40 years and some significant health challenges to prompt me into finally publishing my first book. Now I can’t stop!

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I’m in school to become a Naturopathic Doctor, so the majority of my reading is books for class and health related books. The last book I read for fun was a biography of Charles Manson.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
The #1 Amazon bestseller, Thriving in the Workplace with Autoimmune Disease is the first book ever to educate individuals specifically with autoimmune disease on their legal and disability rights in the workplace. The book was born out of author Holly Bertone’s personal and painful experience and lack of resources available specifically for individuals with autoimmune diseases. She walks you through the basics of navigating FMLA, EEO, reasonable accommodations, working with your boss, and then provides much needed resources to help you find that critical balance between taking care of your health and managing your symptoms at work.

Having an autoimmune condition or any other kind of invisible illness can be isolating. You may look and act totally fine on the outside, but you feel like your insides are slowly killing you and all you ever want to do is crawl under the covers and go to sleep.

It’s difficult enough for your family and spouse to understand what you are going through. It’s especially difficult in the workplace when your employer can’t “see” your condition and doesn’t understand why you are asking for flexibility or accommodations. You feel like no one understands. You feel like you have no voice.

This book is not going to tell you to give up and become a victim. The mission of this book is to empower you with knowledge so that you can rise above your illness and challenges and thrive both at home and in the workplace.

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
E E Wiseman is the Pastor of Kings Abode Church with a call to nurture divinity in the Saints. He is an anointed preacher-teacher and a prolific writer loaded with insight from God’s word and the way forward for the 21st-century church of God. He is the author of the Divine nature of God and has many healing and miracles testimonies on his belt.
He was born in a wonderful city called Limbe and raised in the great city of Buea all in the south-West region of Cameroon in Africa. Where he grew to love God and learned Obedience through many sufferings. He later moved to the USA in 2016 and has been living in Orlando Florida since then. He is married the best for a wife (Yvette) and has a wonderful baby girl for a daughter (Edrice). He has no pets

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
Growing up I really didn’t care about reading a lot except reading for tests and exams. However, when I became born again, reading my bible brought reading to me and made me understand that my life depended on it. Since then I started reading other books for my personal spiritual and social advancement. Then at the age of 19, I started writing mostly poetry and short Christian tracts and messages. However, it was in 2008 that writing book truly actually began for me and I have been writing since then.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
When I think about favorites, I have many who come to mind, however, The Believer’s Authority by Kenneth E. Hagin just stands out for me. Also when I think of the Book Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki nothing can beat the transformational ideas I got from that book

Tell us a little about your latest book?
My first book release is titled: the divine nature of God (Know GOd: be god)In 2008 shortly after I was ordained; I was seeking admission to study Masters of Divinity which was unsuccessful in all my attempts. So I kept praying to the Lord for direction then one day, I heard him speak to me. I want you to write about my nature. So I said, God, I wanted to go study divinity you didn’t let me now you I me to write about your divine nature? But as the voice was strong I bought a book and titled it the Divine Nature of God. Then the Lord started showing me things about him from the scriptures and I was writing. So I wrote the first for chapters then he stopped. Then I stayed for two more years. So in 2010 I started writing and finished the book in 2011. This book was born out of a period of suffering and divine revelation in my life. It is not just a literal exposition of the Bible. Rather it is the communication of the spirit and power of God’s nature to his children, so that at the end they will be truly transformed to be like him.
This book was therefore written, because God wanted to reintroduce Himself to His church in a way that they can know him as he wants them to know Him in the 21st century. Therefore, in it is written the revelation of an understanding of how God wants the church to know him to the end that they all become like him according to experience and perfection. It is written the people that know their God shall be strong and do exploits. Hence can we not conclude that the church of God is limited today in the world not by the strength of the Devil or their enemies but by the lack of the true knowledge of their God and his will for their lives?

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was born and raised in Chester County, Pennsylvania, where I still reside and work. My husband and I have five babies–er, I mean cats. All five are rescues, our favorite breed. I’m a huge ice hockey fan, a fledgling graphic artist, and an avid enthusiast and researcher of Revolutionary War history.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
One of my earliest memories is learning to read. I loved all of Dr. Seuss’s books, “Winnie the Pooh,” and “The Wind in the Willows,” to name a few of my early favorites. I started writing short stories and poetry in the 5th grade and eventually began crafting full-length books. Despite my passion for the written word, only recently did I seriously pursue a career as a novelist. While I still work a full-time job, writing is and always has been my calling.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I enjoy reading many authors, but one of my favorites is Dale Van Every. His timeless classic, “Bridal Journey,” inspired me to write historical novels. I’m also a fan of David Liss, Dan Sherman and Bernard Cornwell. My favorite genre is historical fiction, primarily American historical fiction, although I do sometimes read modern day espionage novels.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
I’m currently working on “This Day is Ours,” another Revolutionary War novel scheduled for release in early 2018. (Did I mention that I’m fascinated with the legends and heroes of the Revolution?) Following is a brief synopsis:

As the flames of revolution spread across a divided land, a shadowy figure prowls the streets of Philadelphia, preying on silk-stockings loyal to the British Crown. Known only as Jack Flash, rebel highwayman, he plays a daring game of cat-and-mouse for the patriot cause, always one step ahead of his enemies. Until the night he clashes with a lady whose fiery spirit could spell his doom.

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I write Australian Historical Romances, each filled with passion, deceit and murder.

I try to encompass much of my own families history into my books, as well as setting most of them in my home town in North Queensland, Australia.

I am happily married to my childhood sweetheart and soulmate and living in North Queensland with our children and pet geese.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I have read from a young age. My parents encouraged my love of books even before I started school. I started writing poems and ditties whilst still at primary school. I got into writing novels when I was at high school.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
Though I do love reading romances, I also enjoy Agatha Christie novels and the works of Arthur Conan Doyle. I have always enjoyed Lord of the Flies and To Kill a Mockingbird too.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
My latest release, Heart of Stone, is slightly different from my other books. The idea for that book came more from the unspoken history of blackbirding in our area of Australia. For those that don’t know, blackbirding was the title given to the slave trade in Australia’s past, mostly dealing with the islanders called Kanakas that were forcibly brought into the country. The main female character in the book is in fact an Irish slave, another scandalous past of Australian history.
