Featured Interview With Tracey Lampley
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I’m a graduate of Miami University of Ohio. Currently I am a graduate student in American history. I am also an avid fan of football, basketball and politics. I was raised in Hamilton, Ohio. Currently I reside in Georgia with my Yorkie mix, Neo. When I am not writing, I am reading and writing for my graduate program in American history. Occasionally I take in an action-packed movie such as Furious 7 and Run All Night.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
My fascination with books started earlier than kindergarten. But it was in kindergarten when I realized I wanted to write and publish books. So, at the tender age of five, I punched three holes in ten sheets of typing paper and bound it with my hair ribbons. I sold the book to my doting uncle for a nickel. Now I’m selling my novellas for $3.99.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
My favorite genre to read is romantic suspense, but I also like crime fiction. My favorite authors are Terry McMillan, Christopher Reich, David Baldacci and James Patterson. My characters actually inspire me in my writings. They sometimes speak to me.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
It took me about two months to write Kept: Book Two, but the editing stage dragged along. Here is the blurb for Kept: Book Two:
