Featured Interview With Todd Linn
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
Todd Linn is a minister with over 23 years of pastoral experience. He has a pastor’s heart and a love for the Word. While having earned his PhD from the highly acclaimed Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, Linn writes in a popular style that combines scholarship, humor, and practical application. He loves preaching, writing, running, and drinking good coffee.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
My 4th Grade teacher had this deal where if you wrote a short story and read it to the class you got a treat from her candy box. I had a sweet tooth so the rest is history!
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
In my genre of Christian non-fiction I enjoy reading Chuck Swindoll, Steve Brown, and Alistair Begg. I am also inspired by Charles Dickens and American author John Steinbeck.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
My first book is a commentary on the New Testament Book of James. It’s entitled You’re Either Walking The Walk Or Just Running Your Mouth! It is a verse-by-verse teaching of the New Testament Letter of James that demonstrates the relevance of the Bible for today’s readers.
