Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
Writing is my passion. That is the reason I write. I think it is the same with all authors and I do not claim to be an exception. I am a researcher and have worked on the Abstraction Theory in physics. Besides that, I have also played my part in the study of the mysterious Indus Valley Script of the Indian subcontinent. I have been part of various Open Science movements for almost a decade now and also serve as the Ambassador for Open Knowledge in India. Playing with data is another thing that I love doing.
Over the last few years, I have been fortunate enough to have authored a good number of book, both fiction and nonfiction.
I am from India.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
Books have always fascinated me and I ha been an avid reader since I can remember. Writing books was an accident though. I was, thankfully, pestered on by a few friends and colleagues to compile my research papers in the form of a book. That was the start of an incredible journey. I have written a good number of books, both fiction and nonfiction. I am truly indebted to my readers for their love and support.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I have always been an avid reader and I am never too picky about what books to read. Generally, I read whatever I manage to come across, with only a few exceptions, maybe. Each and every book that I have read has made me learn something and helped me expand my horizon. Every book has been special in its own way.

I believe, every author writes in order to express some deep inner urge. I am no exception to this myself. However, the challenge is not to be tempted and always being true and honest to this inner urge. It is the purest source of all creation.

I am deeply indebted to my readers and critics alike for having always showered me with love and respect. They are a true inspiration.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
My latest offering is called ‘The Blue Buccaneer’. It is a murder mystery, set against the backdrop of the antiquity of an Indian museum.
From the book description:

If you love to solve murder mysteries and if your idea of relaxing is reading a thriller, then this is probably the book for you.

Though everything looks perfect on the surface, all is not well at the Indian Museum. Mysterious, almost ghostly, events start happening. An inferno follows. The dystopian whirlpool of events spares nobody, not even the Director of the museum. In such trying times, one cannot be too sure, who is a friend and who is a foe. In the murkiness, it is not very clear who is on which side of the law. Even the deduction seems to have hit a dead end!

What is clear, however, is that a serious crime has been committed. It is up to one man now to go to the bottom of it all.
