Featured Interview With Stella Williams
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I am a romance author and write life blogger. I was born in Oakland, CA but currently live in Washington State. My writing sidekick is an adorable blue and tan min pin! I enjoy writing paranormal romance with diverse characters and worlds.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I started reading before I could actually read. I would peak over my mother’s shoulder as she read her Harlequin romances and try to sound out the words. I started writing at the age of 8 when I was gifted my first journal by my godmother.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I don’t really have favorites. I just read whoever and whatever strikes my fancy at the moment. I am currently into non-fiction feminist memoirs, manifestos and essays. Becoming by Michelle Obama has been a very influential read.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
My latest book is a paranormal romance featuring a secretive group of Magic users. It touches more on social and environmental issues. It’s a slight departure from my Maura’s Men Series which features vampires and more traditional suspenseful romance themes.
