Featured Interview With Sarah Forester Davis
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was raised all over. We were a military family and because of that my childhood was spent living in numerous locations all over the world. Currently I live in Northeast Ohio with my own family. My love of travel has rubbed off on them for sure. I’ve been married for almost thirteen years, have four kids, one geriatric dog, and four cats.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
Very young! We traveled a lot growing up, and to keep myself busy I would always have a notebook with me to write stories in.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I’m a huge fan of Colleen Hoover, and also really enjoy Simone Elkeles. My favorite genre is definitely young adult and new adult. My characters are actually what inspire me to write. They have a story, and I’ve been given the opportunity to bring their story to life, and that itself is inspirational.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
Bodhi and Eva, the main characters of Confession, were stuck in my mind for a really long time. I knew they had an epic story, and they lived in my imagination for years, beating on my head to be let out. Once I found the time to write about them, the story flew out so fast it was as if they were like, FINALLY, let’s do this.
I started writing it in June of 2020 and by March of 2021 it was completely done.
The story takes place in Flagler Beach, Florida, and numerous local spots are mentioned throughout the story.
Readers say all the time, this book plays out like a movie in their head. Bodhi and Eva have quite the loyal fan base!
