Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
Hey, I’m Safira!
I’m a newly self-published author. I have a thing for dark fiction, thrillers, and adventure novels. You could say my writing is for those with an acquired taste…
I was raised in a small town that was pretty boring. I think my imagination is so wild now because I was always daydreaming to keep myself entertained lol.
Now, I live in a bigger, fun city. I love it here (no shade to my hometown).
I have one dog, and he’s my BFF, of course.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I realized I was passionate about writing and books in the 5th grade after my English teacher gave me my first creative writing assignment. All of my stories were always the craziest and pages longer than everyone else’s because I just couldn’t help myself and every assignment was so much fun for me to do.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
My favorite authors are Suzanne Collins, Veronica Roth, and Angie Thomas, and they inspire me. My favorite genre is Suspense/Thriller.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
My latest book is a short, paranormal thriller, titled Flower, and it’s pretty insane. But if that’s what you’re into, you’ll love it. It’s available now as an ebook ($2.99) and paperback ($5.99) on Amazon! Flower was inspired by American Horror Story (one of my favorite shows) and some celebrity gossip. I just couldn’t get my mind off the idea of the plot until I wrote it and published it. Usually when story ideas cling to my mind like that, I know they’re going to be good.
