Featured Interview With Sabìnah Adewole

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
My name is Sabìnah Adewole. I am a mother married for twenty six and have three young adults. I was born in London United Kingdom and raised in Nigeria . I moved to Nigeria aged 4 when I lost my dad. I moved back in 1995 and have lived in the United Kingdom ever since. I used to have an Alsatian dog in Nigeria but do not currently own a pet. I enjoy travelling , nature ,exercising and the outdoors.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I realised my fascination with books from a very young age . As a result I studied English language in University. I wrote my first book in 2016 titled My story seven years of bondage all that glitters is not gold by Koko Danielles. I have also taken part in four anthologies all best sellers. I started to write poetry from a park bench in May 2018. I have since self published two poetry books In 2019 titled journeys of Life volumes 1 and 2 available on Amazon. They are a collection of free prose poems that are inspirational and transformation poetry . These are a collection of poems I have created on my journey on the day , bus on my travels.
In Dec 2019 I published my first children series A Child’s Journey through poetry Vol 1 which is fun ,engaging and interactive touching on current issues . This is a best seller on Amazon in 7 categories.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
My favourites authors are Chinua Achebe -Things Fall Apart.
I also enjoyed Shakes Speare novels -A merchant of Venice
I am inspired to read new authors who are setting out or breaking into the curcuit.
My favourite genre is Poetry . I enjoy Maya Angelou poems , I find them very inspiring. I enjoy her style which is easy to read and follow.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
My latest book is my Children’s series A Child’s journey through poetry Vol 1.
It is a fun and engaging series for anyone and has been inspired by my faith and my journeys. It touches on current issues and is for anyone it is a best seller in seven categories and also Number 1 in New Release. . It is educative , interactive , fun and inspirational life series for anyone to enjoy.
The book touches on current issues of safety , Climate Change, family dynamics to rainbows, seaside and unicorns. This collection uses the basic events of everyday to learn and have fun with the child . Open ended questions inspire readers to think by involving them in the story shared.

You can use this book to interact and connect to your child or children on a level where you can engage and encourage one another to be present in your growth journey , fun and easy to read , with colourful pictures to draw you in , this book can be a fantastic starter journey for a child to enjoy on their own.
