Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was born and raised in North Carolina and still live there today. I have been married for 43 years and have ten grandchildren with our dog Molly.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
At 14 I wrote my first short story for my school class but it was a few years later before I wrote my first novel.Karen
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
Karen Kingsbury My favorite stories to read are true stories, inspirational and suspense fiction. Inspiration comes in the form of dramatic story with some twist along the way.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
Run Til It’s Over is my latest book, a three part story about Marty Summers beginning at the age of twelve. Marty tries to help out his family after his father gets hurt and put out of work. Good intentions can only go so far when Marty hooks up with the wrong person Brock Parker a sixteen year old drug dealer. After a run in with the police Marty wants out but he knows to many people and names for a easy way out. Mr. Johnson, the head boos is not going to make it easy which means the only way could cost him his life.
