Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I live in Midwest, but I am well traveled having lived in many different states in the USA. I very into mythology I find the stories of ancient cultures deeply fascinating. Celtic Mythology was huge influence in the creation of my series. I love ancient history and can just get lost delving into books or documentaries on the past. I have had many felines over the years, I definitely am a cat person. I am a creative person by nature and before venturing into writing was doing commission for paintings.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
At first I didn’t like books. Reading was hard, I couldn’t focus and would easily get bore, but when I finally got to choose what I wanted to read, and not some preset school selection. I actually found I loved it. I began reading fairytales, mythology, history, all I could get my hands on, and was surprised to discover I did enjoy reading.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
Marion Zimmer Bradley is my favorite author. Fantasy would by my favorite genre. This may sound weird W.B. Yeats, one of his poems inspired some cultural facets of my universe.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
My latest book is Book 2 in the Sword of Stars Series. It is called Cursed Fates, it picks up slightly after where Book 1: Eternity is not Forever ends. It follows Aria and Kestrel as circumstances beyond their control take them on different paths. They navigate growing up, making friends, dealing with their past, and trying to survive in the world they call home. I highly suggest reading the first book, before you delve into the second.
