I started writing in 1998
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
Being the co-ordinator of a Book Reading Group, the books which I now read are very diverse. I studied Crime Fiction while at Uni. as this was the genre which I was interested in at the time.
To date my favourite authors are Khaled Hosseini, Stephen Booth(crime) Kate Grenville and Kate Atkinson.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
My debut novel was ‘Free as a Bird in a Healing Garden’ and I am currently writing a sequel to this.
My latest published book is a collection of tales entitled ‘FEMME FATALE and other stories’. It is an eclectic collection of fourteen tales of the unexpected and took around eight months to write. It is a thought provoking collection, with some surprises, encompassing fantasy, mystery, murder, deception, childhood memories, nightmare neighbours, phobia, loneliness, mistaken identity and much more.
The opening story FEMME FATALE explores the strange occurrences in a sleepy, coastal village. Jessica Witherington, whom some believe to be a witch, a sorceress, a temptress with strange powers arrives in Frinton Upwater and soon after a number of young men begin to go missing.
