Featured Interview With Nonhlanhla Annah Thusi
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I am a born again Christian living in South Africa at Free state province. I was raised by my aunt at the farm in the area called Frankfort while my mom was working at the urban area called Sasolburg. I now live in an area by the name of Deneysville, and I don’t have pets.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I always liked reading and writing, however in primary schools my writing was never neat, I don’t why I always had to scratch or use a tip-ex. However I had a good hand writing that my brother would request me to write love letters and poems to his girlfriends. That’s when I developed an interest to write. In primary I was writing poems, in high school I was learning to write short stories and in 2015 I wrote my first title,. “You are God’s masterpiece”. I was 24 years then.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I like variety when it comes to books. My favourite authors are as follow: Sidney Sheldon, Mitch Albom, Paulo Coelho and some of the books by Lersly Pearse. The book that inspires me most is “Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
“You are God’s masterpiece”, this book is about a search for purpose, as I was in the search myself when I wrote it. In this book the message is simple that: Do not be afraidyou are God with asmall g whereas He is God with a capitalG, Palm 82:1-6. When you criticize yourself you are also criticizing the intelligence of the one who created you,Roman14:7-8. No matter the circumstance you were created to outshine, Never underestimate your abilities. You are the most outstanding piece among all God’s work. If he were to make a show off you would be his showpiece. Keep shining!!! I wrote this book to enlighten everyone that dreams were made to come true. You were born unique, ensure that in every area you lay your hand or step your feet you leave a conspicuous mark, that’s when your specialty will be visible. When you claim that you are unique and special it must be seen in actions because actions conveys the message louder and faster than words.Continue digging on your dream, never give up for you never know how far you are from the reach. You might fall and not once or twice, but always get up and start all over again until you get it right. Determination is one of the keys to success and failure is vital for your maturity. No matter how dark it may be there’s always a light by the name of hope waiting for you to let it shine until fully manifested. It’s not every thing challenged that can be changed but nothing can be changed unless challenged. Never allow you condition to become your conclusion. Live your dream.
