Featured Interview With Natasha Mason
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I grew up in the small town of Hartford, Connecticut. I currently live in CT, don’t have any pets. A mother of 6 and a grandmother of 4. I am a survivor of 23 years of domestic violence and child sexual abuse and certified domestic violence coach. I have a passion for helping women of domestic violence.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I was in my 20’s. I started writing when I was 17 years old.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
My favorite authors to read is Joyce Meyers, Dr. Juanita Bynum, Joel Olsteen and TD Jakes just to name a few. My favorite genre are spiritual self help and Memoirs.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
Natasha Mason grew up in the small town of Hartford,
Connecticut. At the age of 5, her mother’s boyfriend began
to abuse her sexually. By the age of 11, the abuse
progressed to verbal and physical abuse.
Growing up, Natasha would often go to her grandmother’s
house to get away from the abuse. Her mother was being
abused as well. As Natasha got older and her family moved
to California, she began to seclude herself. She lived this
way until her early twenties when she started to go to church
and strengthened her relationship with God. The abuse
continued until she was 28 years old when God told her to
leave and that is what she did
