Featured Interview With Mark A. Cooper
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was born in South London, UK, I moved to Florida in 2003 and absolutely love America and the people.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I was a young reader, hooked on local author Enid Blyton. The first novelI wrote was in 2007, it was for my son, it went on to become a best seller.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I mostly read young adult, I enjoy Ian Fleming novels, JK Rowling, Anthony Horowitz. I would have to say Enid Blyton inspires me still today.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
The last novel was book 3 in the Jason Steed series, ‘Jason Steed Absolutely Nothing’. Jason who is now twelve attends a military academy in the United States. His father is in the Royal Nay and part of a United Nations team that gets arrested in Vietnam. The Vietnamese make demands from the UN, that can not be met, they put a 7 day notice on the lives of the captives.
The US does not want another conflict, everyone tells Jason that he should not worry someone will do something, eventually he does something and stows away to Vietnam.
