I live in New Roads, close to Baton Rouge. I have a dog. Duke’s a Boston Terrier, and I lose him.

When I was able to read, my fascination with books began. I remember my Encyclopedia Browns, Judy Blume stories, and those Choose Your Own Adventure books. Books ran my life.
