Featured Interview With Kevin Douglas Wright
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was born in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania and grew up in Willingboro, New Jersey. I now live in South Florida. I do not have any pets, but I love dogs. Back in the day, I was just “ok with cats”…until recently… when I saw a viral video where a cat saved a young boy from being attacked by a vicious dog. Now, I love cats. Forever!
I recently produced, wrote, and directed the psychological horror film, “Royal Love Story From The Grave.”
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I became fascinated with books after I graduated from high school. I started writing in 9th grade.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
My favorite authors to read are Tony Robbins and Napoleon Hill. My favorite genres to read are mystery, murder, private investigator, suspense, thriller, detective, and short story. I’m inspired by film and television in my writings.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
My latest book is a short story called, “Murders at the Fountain of Youth”. What do you know about The Fountain of Youth? Did it really exist? Discover the story behind the Fountain of Youth. Where was it? Where is it today?
Take a trip back in time. This is the story of a struggling private investigator hired to solve a murder mystery, challenged to be fair, and trusted to save a village full of innocent people including her daughter.
It took me about one month to write this book. It is Book #2 of my ‘Mystery, Murder, Suspense, and Private Investigators’-series of books. Book #1 is called, “The Mystery and Murder of the Dragonfly’s Daughter”.
