Featured Interview With Kemone Francis
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I am a trained Counsellor, Empowerment Speaker, Award Winning Author and Justice of the Peace for the parish of Kingston, Jamaica.
I live in Kingston. I have a pet whose name is Daisy.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
As far back as I can remember, I have been fascinated with books. I started writing in 2010 but paused due to writer’s block.
This however changed in 2021 as I was commanded by God to “Now write, my people are hurting”. I was obedient to the command and penned my first book entitled “Where Shame Ends Grace Begins: Chronicles from the Redeemed”.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
My favorite authors are T.D. Jakes, Rick Warren and Michelle Obama. I love to read Inspirational books.
I am inspired to write when I see/hear women who are struggling with Unforgiveness, Shame and Rejection.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
“Where Shame Ends, Grace Begins: Chronicles from the Redeemed” captures the story of three(3) youngsters who struggled with fornication which led to pregnancy, unforgiveness and suicidal ideation, despite being called Christians.
It further state the reaction from the individual churches which led to them questioning whether God shares the same feeling of disgrace and shame towards them.
Thankfully, with the help of Non -Judgemental Clery, they were able to make restitution, by the Grace of God and found their way back to the body of Christ.
The book contains 8 chapters with a reflection segment and nuggets of empowerment at the end of each chapter.
