Featured Interview With Kate Harriet
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I grew up in a small cosy village in England and used to live on a farm as a little girl. However I was petrified of the cows because to a six-year-old a cow is a monster.
I still live in that tight-knit little village but don’t have any pets as I am constantly being buzzed by the local woodpigeons and befriended by the neighbourhood cats.
Does this make me a Disney Princess?
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
Mum says I started reading when I was about three out of sheer nosiness. I wrote my first alphabet book when I was seven and bound it together with blue parcel string.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
My favourite author to read is Jane Austen, as her books feature heroines who stand their ground against society’s rules and despite overwhelming odds.
Tell us a little about your latest book?

But on the eve of the deadline, Matthew announces that he is marrying her old school bully instead.
Heartbroken, Jess flees to the beautiful frost-covered village of Birling Grove to recoup at her parents’ farm cottage. But soon she clashes with a notorious local earl…
As their feelings grow, will Jess find new love or will a dithering Matthew get in the way?
