I am happily married, have a teenage daughter and a dog named Stumpy (1/2 German Sheppard, 1/2 Corgi).
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I hated to read all the way through college–I hated it, because I thought I was too cool for it. Then I met an author who said, “Reading Will Change Your Life”–I was 38 when I enjoyed reading my first book., which was a book the author gave to me for free–it took me 3 weeks to finish the book–then I read another, then another, then another–I was reading nearly 100 books a year–then I decided to write my first book Go The Distance in 2011 with my dad. He and I wrote the book, about how baseball rebuilt our relationship.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I love to read non-fiction. Pat Williams, is my favorite author. He taught me that reading is fun, enjoyable and engaging–which led me to writing 4 books, a published poem and writing for my local newspaper. I love motivational books, history books, sports books and military books.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
